GAWDAMMMM I MISS THE 80s!!!! You brought a HUGE smile to this aging man. Love seeing you two having so much fun to the musical anthems of my youth. I was a teen in the 80s. These type of feel-good movies and music were so quintessential. Andrew McArthy was a legend at that time. Mannequin also had a young James Spader - great actor. And of course Sex and City's own Kim Catrall.

This song was featured in the film "Mannequin" starring Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrell. Classic '80s film. Lots of fun... I had some time to kill in early '84 I think and responded to a last minute call on local radio in LA to attend a free concert for the forthcoming movie "Hard To Hold" starring Rick Springfield and Susan Sarandon at the LA Sports Arena. Rick Springfield played a few tunes - including "Jessie's Girl" but what wasn't announced was that Jefferson Starship would play a free concert. They played for two hours and it was back-to-back hits! It was badass! I was so blessed to see Mickey Thomas and Grace Slick bring it and then later see the movie. Very cool...!

By that time, many of them had been performers for over 20 years, and didn't gaf what people thought. Grace and Mickey are OG, and legends. If you want to see Mickey go off, check out their song "Jane". Wanna see Grace? Check her out on lead from '67 with "White Rabbit". Have a great day!

They were my very first concert. My parents brought us when we were little. Also, this movie was filmed in Philly. My dad’s office used to be in the same building (Wanamaker Building).

I saw the current lineup of this band last summer. I think only 1 or 2 are from the original lineup from the 60s. Id highly reccommend you react to their song, "we built this city" . youve probably heard their song, somebody to love. It was in the movie cable guy i believe. They did that when they were called Jefferson starship.

The movie mannequin was a good 80s movie y'all should watch it together again sometime the girl that plays the mannequin is a very young Kim Cattrall aka Samantha Jones from Sex and the City lol and the song is great
