The yacht delivery of a Hallberg Rassy 50 from Bruinisse, Netherlands to the Cannes Boat Show, France. The Hallberg Rassy 50 is a stunning yacht. No wonder it won the European Yacht of the Year Award 2022!
Beats watching the same sh.. on tv over and over again. Never a dull moment crossing the oceans, did a few thousand nm myself and enjoyed every minute. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful boat and video, thank you. That boat was made 50 km from here. I checked the price for that model new, it's huge for a normal person. Dream boat!
Great video, which should help HR to sell a few of this absolutely stunning yacht..! I’m just looking down the back of the sofa to see if there is a winning lottery ticket hiding there!!
Stunning boat, stunning video !!!! I love the professional grade quality of your videos, absoutely fantastic, well done for a sagfe and secure delivery as always, top job !!!!
Nice vid!! Nice trip too.... more like cruising rather than sailing!!.... it says a lot about the comfort on board..... on top of that one even gets paid to endure all this hardship!!
We had one exactly like that one in Den Osse for a couple of weeks. Had some problems with the rudder and the in mast furling of the mainsail. The owner asked me to keep it under electrical power as the shorepower switches off every 24hrs in our marina and he wasn't there continously. As I did, I checked its consumption, 3kWh/night and about the same during the day. Wonder what was using all that power when not in use.
Lovely video, thank you very much for sharing it. May I press you for a naive question? There's a possible Rassker 69 looming ahead from the Hallberg Rassy shipyard, if I do not mistake. Have you heard about it? Do you expect to sail her? Cheers.
Given the recent issues with orcas. What was you plan? Looked like you were in >20m of depth for a lot of the trip. Did you have your heavy rock playlist al ready?
May I ask what route you took from Bruinesse to the North Sea. You cannot get out via the Rompot (air draft) and couldn't work out your route, thanks in advance and always enjoy the Mark and Susan vids
Really nice HR 50! -- QUESTION -- Does the 57 feel much bigger than the 50? From watching online it seems narrower and about the same size inside - I know it has a dinghy garage which probably takes up the interior space. But do you notice it being bigger?
@@heinrichkoop9189 Volvo Penta is not chinese owned... Volvo trucks, busses, marine propulsion and construction equipment is a completely separate company.
@@BilldalSWE Thanks, good to know ... I just put the question out there, but now we know. HR still must have had a reason not to use a Volvo Penta, then ...
@@heinrichkoop9189 They have Volvo Penta in all their other models so my guess is it's because there's a current gap in Volvo Pentas model program. D2 (used in the HR40 and 44)goes from 50-75hp and D4 (Used in the HR 57) goes from 175-320hp. The HR 50 has a 110hp engine and the Volvo Penta D3 that used to sit in between is being replaced be a new model.
