Ms. Berry is definitely a smooth operator. No fumbles, misses and most importantly....no lapse of safety protocol. She is a woman on her game. I would expect that Mr. Reeves may find her a hard act to follow in the weapons handling department. A pleasure to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Most definitely. My guess is she would never manipulate a weapon without knowing what condition it's in. She would never accidentally shoot someone on set and blame it on someone else and a weapon malfunction. FYI, when you pull the trigger on a loaded weapon that has no safety, it's going to fire. They are actually made to do that Alec Baldwin.
When I got laid off in 2009. I was on 99 weeks of unemployment, thanks to Barry. I practically lived at the range. I got incredibly fast and accurate. Went back to work in early 2011. That level of proficiency was quickly lost...
@@hanc37 I know what that’s like. I completed a firearms/use of force instructor course many years ago. After shooting about 1000 rounds of handgun, I was extremely fast and accurate. I did retain a lot of the skills due to muscle memory, but I lost a ton of speed and accuracy in a short time. It takes a lot of consistent and regular training to maintain the high level.
Halle Berry seems down to earth like Keanu Reaves and she doesn't seem to mind cleaning up after herself. A lot can be said about a person's character by watching what they do and not the words coming out of there mouth.
Halle is so humble but yet so awesome! She is something else. This shooting for John Wick and also Bruised where she trained as a fighter. What a woman
Referring to your comment... I’ve read and saw interviews pretty much stating (meaning) the same... Plus many other good things. Genuinely a Great human being. His acting isn’t the best, but seems he’s a soul!
@@BusterRoonie I realise this is entirely subjective, but I think his acting is amazing for the roles he's cast in. He usually plays introverted and/or glib characters which suits him perfectly. I can see how his acting would be off if he was to play a more extroverted character. Obviously Bill and Ted are an exception to this lol.
She is so smooth, it is amazing. She's got to be a natural athlete. She doesn't even look like she's going fast but she is. No wasted motions, everything on a line. She's not tensed up or anything, then her reload is quick and compact no fumbling.
practice practice practice. I spent three hours one afternoon working on my reload drill, starting slow with reaching for my mag with left hand at the same time I'm ejecting the spent one, gun up in my sight line, pull mag, eyes hit it to get the alignment, eyes to sights as it slides home, feel the latch, overhand rack, click on target. Spent hours doing it, get to shoot a stage that night and my moves were perfectly smooth. The RO who had shot in USPSA grand nationals in the open class commented that it looked like I had been practicing it a lot. I nodded. No secrets to it, just figuring out the moves, working them slow and building the speed the right way.
Halle Berry's always been one of my favorites. That's so cool. Hats off to her. I love her in John wick 3. You could tell she's put in a lot of work. Watching her in these clips just goes to show that she had a damn good time learning all this too.
The way Halle goes through that routine is like a calm, determined gangster. I'd think twice about messing with her on her turf. Great shooting and skill, a real professional.
Just another reason why I love Halle Berry. Some of the best shooters I have ever seen have been girls - no lie; and Halle proves why. Great shooter - great weapons proficiency with ethics, respect, and responsibility in handling a very serious tool. This was live range fire - not Hollywood blanks in a make believe movie! Good job Halle - love you Girl!
I think having her come on board exposed her to new level of commitment with acting. She genuinely loves the real world engagement, so much so that she actively trains now. I think this gave her a new outlook for her life going forward
These two are such beautiful actors. Humble, dedicated, professional. You know this is only a tiny fraction of the number of times they practiced this, just for one scene.
Hello thanks for being a true and supportive fan of me,I really appreciate you reaching out Kindly send me a private message on my cell number (514) 613-8108
I grew up in SOCAL...and seeing those beautiful pepper trees in the hot canyons above the city... Halle and Keanu ripping it up...what a great day it must have been for them.
Always said, actors are so privileged in the way they get to learn new skills for acting roles, both Mr reaves and mizz Berry, look very skilled and confident in handling firearms, very very impressive, well done ladies and gentlemen 👍👌👏👏👏👏😁
Halley Beerry was already a very beautiful woman, but she just became about 35-45% more attractive, in my singular opinion. Powerful, strong, self reliant women have always been something that I admire, and respect, and maybe even fear, (just a little bit). I'm sure that is why she started firearms combat training, so that she could impress a old broken down blue collar worker like me, right?
I so love this… just the fact that she also trained with the dogs she had!! I Love this… Halle should be in a sub-story of her own about her daughter and then Keanu can make a cameo appearance 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽❤️❤️kick ass cool Halle!!!! ❤❤❤❤
2:05 I like how she puts her weapon on safety before returning the High Five. That's responsible Gun Behaviour Edit : I got a lot of flak + comments accusing me of copying somebody else's comment & even the relevance of my emphasis on responsible gun behaviour. Now after the Alec Baldwin incident, I stand vindicated.
@Jon Esqueda well you go right ahead and mess with her. Exploit the innumerable weaknesses she obviously has. Right? Tell us Jon, do you think maybe Halle has better firearm skills than say… at least 90% of the rest of the population? The “Don’t mess with her” was not meant in a totally literal sense. It was part of simply giving her a compliment.
Great to see and Well Done. Nice to see Women getting into the Shooting Sports. I've been shooting IPSC continiuosly since 1980, and it sure beats playing Golf on a Sunday ..... Wednesday, Thursday! JB
Stay Educated yet and still it’s more Training then almost every police officer in this country and she was quite proficient. I worked with plenty of people couldn’t hit the target five feet in the front of them, give her credit.
Halle Berry moves with the elegance and efficiency of a ballerina through these drills. I bet she had some dance training in her past. That's what 3 Gun is for the most part, it's a dance. She's a complete natural and I hope she does John Wick 4.
Only recently have I learned that Halle Berrry (of all people) is the real deal kick ass lady in real life. She knows how to throw down and battle, if she has to. Who knew? Now I find out that she can shoot with teh best of them. My admiration continues to grow. She had me being a world class beauty movie star. But now............whoa...........its over the top.
that level of intense focus is stunning and an awesome thing to witness like this (and this quick snap back to 'normal' from the super serious is pretty neat to)
