I'm a guitarist and I had that LP almost the day it came out when I was in High School. I think it was 1982. The entire LP WOWED ME! But strangely, even though I've played guitar since I was in Jr. High School, I never tried to learn how to play this song, I just sat down and played a bit of it after watching you. It never seemed worth it to learn the song because every band I was ever in not one of those guys could hope to sing this song, not even close.

I realise Dave and Adrian have developed as players and naturally improvise but these original solos have always resonated with me. they fit really well. might have also formed the basis for some of the aces high solo licks... what is your favourite improvised versions of these soulos? I love Adrians fairly close to the original on Maiden England (essential viewing for Maiden fans)

Wow this is so precise both in tone and style. Perfect playing! You killed it man! Hallowed is a favourite song of many people including me as well. Just the recent live performances almost never do it for me. Bruce almost always sounds way better than 80s but the second solo... Not to hate on Janick, I love the guy, but I truly miss Adrian's solo on this one and some others. Anyway, keep up the good work :)
