This 4k release actually made Halloween 5 one of my favorite in the series. Hard to explain how different of an experience it was compared to when I first saw it on AMC like 12 years ago

Well, I'm in the minority here but 5 is hands down, without a doubt, my absolute favorite in the franchise. Wonderful review of my favorite movie.

@@jinpayne I can't help it man, when I was a kid and took that home in 1990 for my birthday on VHS I was hook as soon as the credits rolled. I had never seen a movie with title credits so cool where the knife was going in and out of the pumpkin. I was amazed. The other Hang-Ups on the movie I can't agree with because other franchises have went into comedy like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street but Halloween 5 for some reason doesn't get a pass

3 months late to this one but I got 5 on the way and I'm interested to see the Dr. Death opening. Halloween 5 is such a weird movie but I absolutely love it. I appreciate the run down on this release! Great vid

Sounds like they went above & beyond with these releases. I hope the Dimension titles, particularly Curse, get an upgrade. Good chance probably, since we still have two new movies in the pipeline. ; )

I personally don't understand all the love for this entry, but, hey - everyone's different. This is the last entry I can tolerate in the original franchise; I never bought it on disc. I have all of them up to Return of Michael Myers on a mix of DVD and Blu-ray, plus the Blu-ray of the 2018 sequel. I already have the Scream Factory 4K of Season of the Witch, but never picked up the others; are they worth it?

Remember what happened when they took the grain out of the predator Blu ray years ago? Oh boy, that was hot garbage. I'm honestly kind of shocked they put so much care into 4&5, but if they're gonna do it, I'm glad they did it right.

Halloweens 1 to 5 are on Netflix UK, of course it is essential viewing. Watching 4 and 5, they are better films than I remembered, however, Michael sitting in the jail at the end chained up with his mask and boiler suit on is hilarious.
