Your hand towel is made on Huck cloth with a Swedish weaving technique. It was a popular home craft from the 40’s. My Aunt taught me to do it in the 60’s when I was a young girl.
This is so timely! I just returned from a trip to Greece and had all of the food that you mentioned from your food festival! Greece is such a beautiful country! Love seeing how you organize your collections.
Love the beautiful Swan and mug you made. You got some nice linens from Gabby too. The food at the Greek Festival looked so delicious. Thank you for sharing❤
Love ❤️ this vlog ! Such a great mixture of a little of everything. I love how healthy your family eats 😊The church sale looked amazing and your friends assemblages are swoon!
I can see your new lace "card catalog" drawers will be easier to see what you have. I would never have thought of taking a jewerly box apart to use like that, smart! Your swan is beautiful. Your husband seems like mine, hard-working and can do most anything around the house. 😉
World Market has a clearance section. The one in my area closed. I miss it. It might be worth a look once they get established. Their Xmas ornaments are half off on the 26th.
Always super ideas. I took pottery class for years and could never throw a pot. But I have many strange things I made with the slab. Thanks for sharing your work.💀🦢
Your swan looks lovely! Such a great variety of beautiful things. The purple lining in the jewelry box is a gorgeous color! I really enjoyed this video. Tfs❤
Your dinners always look so delicious😍 love the jewellery box,the colour is so vibrant❤Love the skull mug & swan❤ You always get the most beautiful linens & ribbons from Gabby!
That embroidery was done with buck toweling and we did these in middle school home economics class (more simple designs). You use a special blunt needle and just pick up the top threads. Haven’t seen that in years. It was fun to do.
I believe the inside of the blue area on your cross stitched linen is the negative of the flower design above. You find so many beautiful and interesting things!
I love the idea of wrapping the lace on the postcards! I have been trying to figure out how to organize mine. Fortunately I have lots of postcards! Thanks for the tip!❤️🇨🇦
Halloween? The line is just too ‘new age’ for me. Let’s return to the Victorian version, witches, black cats, ghosts, devils, anthropomorphic vegetables, fortune tellers, and angry pumpkins chasing little children. LOL.
That’s it! It didn’t feel Halloween to me but said it in the tag. New age is the perfect description. I thought some type of stuff to put spells in children before summer starts! 😂😂😂
@@TarnishedTreasures1 I really shouldn’t have been critical of anything that might encourage others to become interested in astronomy. To get people interested in at least the moon’s phases might be a start. NOVA just aired a Cosmos documentary on searching for dark matter/dark energy. I think the real challenge for the moment is just trying to understand brain matter. Oh well, It’s the start of summer, let the brain relax.
I love your red roses 🌹🌹🌹, do you cut them back in the winter? Thank you for following me on Instagram, it's an honor. I am a long-time watcher of your show because I am thrift shop, rummage sale girl..
