Hi Corinna, that enamel acorn looks like it was used as smelling salt. It’s fabulous!! And all that jewelry, wow!!! Don’t use a screwdriver on that bank. A little WD40 sprayed on it should do it! I got a miniature mosaic frame today priced at $30 for only $8!!! Amongst a few other things. Great haul!!! Anne

You are a lucky, lucky girl! My goodness, I'm old and I have never found a pools of light necklace.... let alone two! Those are fabulous! The one with the brass clasp is certainly sterling and would have originally had the same spring type clasp as the other necklace. Very nice pendant with the Blue Morpho Butterfly wings. I have a small collection of that type of jewellery and nearly every piece is marked England STERLING. Also love the silver cigarette tip in the darling enamel case....so pretty!

The tatted edging on you runner is simply exquisite! I have a swinging frame similar to yours, mine holds a photo of my mother taken around 1937 when she was 12, but I think the frame is older as my grandmother had one like it on her vanity table with a photo of her own mother in it. So it may be turn of the century or even older. The handle on your little suitcase looks like Bakelite. Amazing haul!!!
Wowzers! You find the most amazing items. I wonder if any of the jewelry glows under black light. I drove today to West Virginia for an estate sale. The home and property has been in the same family since 1772, can you imagine. They had cleaned out the attic for the sale. I ended up getting a book from 1850 with the ladies name inside that I will research and find out more about. Love finding treasures! 💕

Such beautiful finds I wish we had the kind of sales in my area of England that you have there are car boot sales but none near me and church jumble sales are now few and far between the purple brooch was lovely and I've never seen any of the pool of light necklaces before 😊❤

What an incredible find! 🎉 Yes, rock crystal (natural) is not the same as the man made crystal in your Aurora Borealas necklaces or crystal goblets. These are so special. I have one, but it is "drilled". So not in the same league and not so valuable.
I am always shocked at the things that you find for the prices, but today, well, wow! My favorites, the dress clip with the coral beads & the first Pools of Light necklace. 🧡🤍🧡 I've never seen anything like that & I've been a vintage jewelry lover for decades.

I think rock crystal is clear quartz crystal whereas crystal like your aurora borealis beads are glass crystal. I have never heard of pools of light necklaces but they are definitely awesome 😁
