Ok I have mixed feelings about this. Its a great trailer but the Halloween films have all gone down hill and I only like the first one; well I like a few other ones. The Rob Zombie ones sucked. The 3rd Halloween was suppose to move on from Micheal. He was killed off in the second one and the direction was to get a different Halloween story each year, but fans at the time hated it and Micheal was brought back in the 4th film. I hope this one is good because most of the Halloween films were bad. It was all the bad sequels to the slasher films that made me start hating horror films in the first place but this trailer has me liking Halloween films again.

It's definitely well cut 👌🏻 I'm actually happy they've given themselves the extra time to work on the marketing of the film. But yeah, I agree. I totally stand by what I said about the franchise running away with itself in not a good way. I really wasn't needed. So I'm hoping brining it back to it's roots and brining Michael home one last time (maybe 👀) will be able to give some of the fire back to the original story! I'm definitely looking forward to this one as well 🔥

Yeah, that trailer was on the short side, but it was still fun to watch, nonetheless. As I like to say, “Longer Is Not Necessarily Better,” and sometimes “Short & Sweet Gets The Job Done”. What are my thoughts on how well “Halloween Kills” is gonna do? I honestly don’t know. I was never very familiar with the “Halloween” franchise. My friend loves your new Logo for your RU-vid channel and recognizes that at close to the 7-Minute mark of this Video, you mentioned that you make all the “General Arts” yourself, which she assumes means that you design all your RU-vid channel artwork: “…or movies or just make a general arts myself…” All the places in this Video where my friend got confused are listed in the final paragraph of this Comment… . My friend had a chance to “Read” this Video Sunday night (November 1st), and is now spending much of Monday morning (November 2nd) “Reading” your LiveStream Video from Halloween day. That 3-Hour LiveStream Video is successfully-Captioned, so my friend E-Mailed me that she’s gonna “Read” it (meaning watch it, of course) on the morning of Monday, November 2nd…A “Running Gag” that my friend and her friends have regarding watching RU-vid Videos is that they say that they “Read” the Videos, and that’s just a crafty wordplay, because they are so heavily-dependent upon “Closed-Captioning” in order to watch Videos, so whenever they plan on watching a RU-vid Video, they like to say that they’re gonna “Read” it or if they’ve finished watching a RU-vid Video, they might say that they’ve “just finished reading” it. I’ve noticed that you’ve always been someone who appreciates Humor. Well, what are your thoughts on that VERY dry humor type of “Running Gag” about saying that one has “Read” a Video (even though people actually, in fact, WATCH Videos, not necessarily “Read” them)? . But did you know, Kirstie, that the Grammar & Sentence Structure for Sign Language is said to be vastly different than the way Spoken & Written English is arranged? So whenever a deaf person watches a “Hearing” person’s RU-vid channel but with “Closed-Captioning,” the sentences are arranged significantly differently from how they phrase things in Sign Language. Often times, the order/orientation is reversed/flipped. So, like, we go like, “How are you doing today?” “Oh, I’m doing alright,” I can’t speak for Sign Language because I don’t know any, but I will say that different languages might arrange the same Question/Answer more like, “Doing Today: How Is It?” “Satisfactory: I Am Feeling.” So just imagine watching a RU-vid Video without any sound and you see a person’s lips moving and they’re very clearly speaking a mile a minute but there’s no audio BUT THANKFULLY there are Subtitles scrolling along the bottom of the screen BUT the sentences are all arranged in a manner that you are not very accustomed to, such as, “Talking about it, we will do today. Enjoyable occasion it start to be having.” Pretty neat & interesting, I think… . So, all that having just been said, what are your thoughts on direct, unaltered Sign-Language-To-Text Translations where the Sentence Structure is unaltered and you’re literally reading EXACTLY word-for-word what’s being signed out? The Following Is A Direct WORD-FOR-WORD Sign-Language-To-Text Translation (WITHOUT Any “Modifying” To Match The Style of Written or Spoken English) From A Video On One Of The Deaf RU-vid Channels That My Friend Watches: “I can catch up on doing thing what I need to finish it. The organization, take few hours of nap, watch movies which you didn’t watch it yet, writing, art, your hobbies do too, with write in your diary every day also…Do your own thing which you didn’t finish it…Yes, that’s depressed to stay at home. It’s diffuse but we didn’t worry about another happening. Just enjoying at home. We are stuck from other happening.” ANOTHER Example: In a Video where she had a “Talk” regarding where she had been for the past 4 months, the Video is titled, “What I Have Been Doing In 4 Months Ago?” What are your thoughts regarding the difference of Language Structure between Written or Spoken English versus Sign Language? And, by-the-way, I’m presuming that the words, “Diffuse” and “Happening” are most likely slang words that are exclusive to ASL and their direct English translations are “Diffuse” and “Happening”…However, much did get rather “Lost In Translation,” you might say…I think it would be kinda neat and interesting if RU-vid could perhaps someday have “American Sign Language” style English Caption tracks automatically “Auto-Generate” (if a Human-Generated “English” Caption track exist, that is) and switches the Grammar and Sentence Structure around to mimic that of ASL, the Caption Track being titled, “American Sign Language” so, that way, people who prefer the Sign Language Grammar Style could select that option. I think that would honestly rather neat, if you ask me… . I don’t know any Sign Language, so I obviously NEED those Captions if I’m watching a Video that’s filmed in Sign Language, but I must admit that sometimes my head is spinning, as the Captions on some ASL-based deaf RU-vid channels don’t read like the English language as I know it. A movie called, “Arrival” is a fictitious Sci-fi film about two Alien Life Forms whom communicated via a language consisting of a rotating doughnut-shaped mist levitating above the ground. In that film, when one alien saved the life of a lady who was communicating with them but got mortally wounded in the blast whilst saving the lady’s life, the lady would later ask one of the aliens where his friend (the other alien) was, to which the still-living of the two aliens replied that the other alien was “Death Process”. So, while people who speak English would say something like, “Oh, he’s not doing too well. He’s basically dying,” the direct unaltered word-for-word into English translation of the response in that vastly different language that the aliens spoke in was derived this instead as: “[Other Alien’s Name] Is Death Process”. So by exploring certain deaf RU-vid channels that my friend watches and reading their DIY Captions that they wrote out for those Videos, I get to educate myself as to how vastly different the words, sentences, and phrases get arranged when people communicate in Sign Language. It’s really rather neat, if you ask me. For Example: Imagine the Captions reading something such as, “Greatly Well I Am Today. You Doing Nicely, Hoping. Quarantining As To Go Smoothly Would Be So. Starting Of The Video, We Will, Yes.” Now, for a good $20 per 15-Minute Video (or maybe a good hefty $50 for a 40-Minute Video), the professional Captioning services would work out all that kinks and modify the Captions to line up with the Grammatical laws of spoken English, but let’s face it, not everybody has that kind of money hanging around. I know I don’t. But I honestly enjoy getting to get that RAW, unaltered Sign-Language-To-Text Translation, honestly. And then meanwhile, my friend says that her friends who were born 100% and who communicate by Sign Language alone often struggle through the Captions of channels run by “Hearing” people, because they are written to the Grammatical style of spoken English. It is said that for some, the Sentence Structure is somewhat of an adjustment to make but, overall, it’s not too-too bad. . Lastly, Here Are All The Places In This Video Where My Friend Got Confused: My friend wonders what you meant at roughly 1 Minute & 50 Seconds into this Video when you said, “This is a lot faster face.” My friend is just confirming/asking you whether you said (at roughly 2 Minutes & 45 Seconds into this Video) that you know you’re gonna be on Twitter on October 15th. (But she wonders what the film’s projected year of release is; her best guess is either 2022 or 2023.) Specifically, you said, “Well, I know where I’m gonna be on October 15th: Twitter! If anyone in my life wants to make significant plans for that day, I’m sorry, I’m busy.” Yeah, on Twitter, apparently. Also, my friend wonders whether you meant October 15 of this year or, if not, perhaps a future year, such as 2022 or 2023 or some time like that. At roughly 4 Minutes & 25 Seconds into this Video, when you said, “They need to really hammer at home,” did you mean that they need to do all the film creating at a home location? Like, “Hammering At Home” in terms of doing all the hard work at a home base location, right? Was that what you meant? At roughly the 5-Minute mark, when you said, “You don’t get any expression at all. _____ has to come from the body in the Body Language.” So, my friend suspects that the Auto-Captions cut out after you said, “You don’t get any expression at all,” and some word you said that failed to Caption started off the next sentence, which is, “[Missing Word] has to come from the body in the Body Language.” Also, she’s confused about how a body can be inside of the Body Language. At roughly 6 Minutes & 15 Seconds into this Video, what did you mean when you said, “Give it to his boy”? My friend wondered, “Give WHAT to his boy?” and “Who is this boy? Michael Myers?” My friend suspects that when you said, at close to the 7-Minute mark, “…or movies or just make a general arts myself,” you meant that you design your own RU-vid channel decorations. She does notice that you’ve recently redesigned your Channel Logo and decorations and she really loves the new design, so she’s definitely proud of you for designing all of the “General Arts” of your RU-vid channel yourself.

Yeah, for a teaser trailer I'm happy with the length and hoping they don't go over the minute - minute and a half mark on the fully cut trailer when they release that 👌🏻 Well I'm glad you can both enjoy it and I'm glad they captions came through for the stream! I didn't know the sentence structure changed around that much, that's interesting to know. I suppose if it makes sense in sign language then that's the main thing so people can communicate and understand. It does make sense thought when I think about how structure changes in other languages, for example in Italian and Spanish and even French a little bit. “This is a lot faster face.” - This is a lot faster paced “Well, I know where I’m gonna be on October 15th: Twitter! If anyone in my life wants to make significant plans for that day, I’m sorry, I’m busy.” - I know where I’m gonna be on October 15th 2021. If anyone in my life wants to make significant plans for that day, I’m sorry, I’m busy. They need to really hammer at home - They need to really hammer it home. Basically meaning they need to drive the point home for the franchise. “You don’t get any expression at all. ___ has to come from the body in the Body Language.” So, my friend suspects that the Auto-Captions cut out after you said, “You don’t get any expression at all,” and some word you said that failed to Caption started off the next sentence, which is, “[Missing Word] has to come from the body in the Body Language.” - It all has to come from the body and the body language. “Give it to his boy” - Give it to us boys. Meaning, can the creators, David Gordon Green and John Carpenter give us the full trailer already. Just me joking about being impatient. “…or movies or just make a general arts myself,” - ...or movies or just make a general arse of myself. Basically saying I post a lot of comedy content and poke fun at myself all the time 👌🏻
