To me it's just insane that someone made a SOLO board game set in a random little ww2 fort right next to where I grew up, with the action revolving around a relatively insignificant part of the battle of Norway, and that this board game became so huge and well received. It's really hard for me to fathom, but I am so happy for the creator of the game!

I was destroyed my first attempt. 😅 I don't typically like war themed games, but this one felt respectful (it didn't shy away from the stress and horrors, and didn't try to make war seem "cool"). It also reminds me of the sheer difficulty of Robinson Crusoe, which I love. Thank you for the video Colin! I'll be watching this throughout the day.

A very different war game, which did have a lot of luck. Yopu had some terrible German infantry rolls, so it seems balanced. I didn't like the idea that medicas would be repairing guns - did that really happen?

if you would have truffle shuffle and not just regular shuffle low morale deck you would have drawn 3 hope cards instead of 1

At 00:42:55 you should have used the map room multiple times with villagers (to move the marker twice per villager) instead of using them in basic "shovel snow" action (move the marker once)

I know siege 1 you lower due to retreat. Why do you lower it for Seige 2? Is that on the board somewhere? Thank you for watching what a great game!!

Yeah I don't know why I thought that. I might have been confused with some events that lower the defense. To watch you play made me want to try again and I had my first victory yesterday (after 5 or 6 tries) ! I lost 15 people in the last advance, 6 survived and weren't hurt.... I needed 6 ! Tough but great game !
