Welcome to my MCC Legendary Speedrun Guides! Today we're tackling 343 Guilty Spark from Halo 1 (Combat Evolved Anniversary).
My goal with this series is to help everyone complete every Halo game on Legendary difficulty using the latest speedrunning tips and tricks. If you have any questions or I forgot to explain something in the video, please ask in the comments and I'll do my best to answer!

Its actually pretty easy, my first run on this level on heroic took me over an hour but with this video I have just done it on legendary in 9 minutes

I used to hate this mission. Me and my friend were stuck on the part where you have to to get across that blinking light bridge and we were stuck for like 4 hours. Now that I know how to do this mission, it has become my favorite mission in ANY Halo game.

I did the grenade just a year ago for my first time and it took me multiple times. I did it for my second time today and got it first try

you know you can throw a grenade to stay in Foehammer's pelican. ride it outside the map, get out and walk in the direction the front of the pelican is facing and soon you will see the area where the grunts and jackals flee from. slide down and walk in.

You don’t actually have to use a grenade at 4:00. You can jump as the light bridge turns off and land on it when it as it turns on. You can probably save time this way and save an extra grenade

I managed to time the on/off bridge and jump from the middle of the bridge before turns off again and make it across instead of grenade jumping. Grenade jump is easier to do though.

Does anyone know if the stay in the pelican glitch(where u throw a frag before you hop out and get a ride to the boundary above the level) and go across the wall until you hit the fort entry is faster?

Well i didn't have to jump. I had to go to the right green door undr the bridge did a circle around come back out to the other side and bang all rooms stage were reset. And able to complete the mission. But i hate that place.

When u drop out of the pelican before u get of throw a grenade so u stay on the pelican walk in the direction where the pilot is until u get to the entrance that’s a skip I did

@3:20 85% chance covenant aren't looking at you well I was lucky enough to be the 15% where they shot me smh. When NakedEli says something is pretty easy and takes me a few tries to do it, makes me feel stupid lol. But least I did this mission in 9 minutes on Legendary thx to Eli.

At 4:02 you can just crouch jump if you have no Grenades

I know this is a weird question, but how come we didn't see all those combat forms of flood when we came in? They just APPEARED there after the flood debut cutscene, so was that for gameplay purpose?

Actually in the forest at the beginning, you can see a combat form, but it runs away. So yes it's just for a little horror atmosphere.

Rice Pilaf Yeah, it'd kind of ruin the atmosphere and narrative if the flood combat forms just showed up as soon as you land in the swamp. The way it's done is brilliant - the slow, relatively safe trek into the heart of the facility before finding the video log. Superb.

If you happen to not have grenades after the flood doors, that jump he's talking about can be crouch jumped. Super easy.

Wow, I didn't know the ending trigger was for the Sentinels to be destroyed, I always thought it was time-based or after enough enemies were killed. My question is, do you leave the facility the same way you entered it? Considering the landscape is much different when you get back outside and there was no tower near the beginning of the level.
