Also if you're planning on redoing foliage as described, I think a good reference would be Guardian and Guilty Spark for the variety. You could benefit from using taller trees instead of the Sierra or Tsavo ones. They add to the spooky atmosphere, add to the sense of scale, and also provide potential play spaces. Like if there's gondola to gondola or aerial fights vs Guardian sentinels, the trees could act as cover too, or have platforms for enemies to set up turrets
I am just now realizing I never saw this video, only the other one. Good. LORD. The visual style of a rainy daytime swamp jungle in Halo 3's incredible lighting just... wow. This would add some incredible visual and gameplay diversity to 3's struggling campaign portfolio. Really loving the work you're doing, man, always seeing the passion in your work and it's amazing. Very cool, although some of those larger, more open spaces look like a pain to navigate without a vehicle. Is this a solo project? Either way very impressive

The track playing is from Infinite, right? I must say... I have long since given up hope that any contemporary Halo media could pierce through the cold and disappointment-hardened nostolgia for the Bungie-era games, but this new rendition truly is a joy. Not very often remastered game content hits the bullseye like this. Oh, and... wonderful work as always =)
@@SpacedZed In the storyboard or whatever on the wiki, it says they originally planned for there to be a part where you ride a train. Are you planning on adding that?
@@Momo-nz2et The mission is gonna get reworked so that we don't have to use too many custom assets, rather use as much original Bungie Halo assets as possible to that it still looks like a Bungie Halo game. So cos there's not a forerunner train we could use we thought it'd just be better to use a Gondola, so the bit in this video is gonna be after it gets emp'd and it'll fall out the sky, thats why this one is like caved into the ground a bit. Also saw some ex-bungie people describing the train similar to the gondola like slightly faster than the gondola ride on delta halo. Also itll be cool seeing the gondola in 3 again
