I honestly don't know why they thought they could do an alternate timeline in the Halo universe... Literally all they had to do was adapt the game's timeline starting with combat evolved and it would of been a MASSIVE hit and yeah they shoulda never taken chiefs helmet off that was realllllllly dumb...

Then on the other hand we got Fallout which IMO was spectacular... the PERFECT IP to create different NEW stories etc. Halo should of been the same story from the games.

damn, i only played Halo one waaaay back in the day, and i remember that the point of master chief never taking off his helmet was as iconic as Gordon Freeman never speaking, its those simple thing that make their true colors shine, they aren't even interested in what they do, how should we be ?

I'm trying to remember the last new TV show I watched that wasn't an anime... First season of House of the Dragon I guess. Ain't watched the second season yet. And aside from HotD it's been a long, long time since I've bothered with new TV shows. And y'know what? I don't even miss them that bad.

Halo 3 marked peak season for my multiplayer skills, social experience, and growing interest in Halo's deep lore. After H3, I turned into a more casual gamer, in general. However, I remained highly invested in Halo through the campaigns, novels, and other meta-content. So, for MS/343/Paramount to drop the ball SO badly, on such a long-awaited opportunity to bring the series to life really sucks. But even worse, I can't help but feel Halo is suffering due to ignorance and malice, if not more of the latter on 343's part.

My favorite Halo game is Halo 3 due to the simplicity of the gameplay.

I was so pissed off that they stole the chief face reveal moment before it could happen in the game. I always wanted to see chiefs face but in a serious moment that would be impactful. a reward for halo fans that stuck by until the end. We will never have that moment now because when it does happen, we will subconsciously compare to the TV show.

They never wanted Chief's face to be seen in the game. They wanted the player to picture what he looks like for themselves in their heads. That's why so many people, including myself, were pissed.

I loved halo before sprint and 343, but then sprint and 343 came in. Not sure if I blame sprint vs how unique the game was without it as a shooter, or if I blame 343. Either way, wish it didn't go this way. Haven't played a halo for more than 10 hours that wasn't halo reach or before that.
