16:39 While it may have been cut from Halo, Bungie certainly decided to implement it into Destiny 16 years later. Bungie really has a knack for reiterating cut features.

The banshee has another sound coming from the vehicle, but the air 'woosh' sound the banshee makes IS actually this flamethrower sound.

Great video with your analysis. Hopefully modders will be able to remake the original version of the game with the various enemies and other things. The thing I’m most disipointed about would have to be the lack of wildlife. I really like just how alien all the animals were, unfortunately the ambient life for infinite is just earth creatures without any cool alien anaimals. I remember when the colony dlc for halo wars 2 was going to be released I was really excited thinking that they would put the tank beast and alien snipers into the game but all we got was sticking worms into tanks and larger hunters that were just reskins of that one flood charger thing from Halo Wars 1. It would be cool if you did videos on the other Halo games and how they changed.

the fact that Halo Ce would've originally had wind that affects your shots with an already insane graphical fidelity for the 90s and early 2000s, would've probably been the first game to have an immense amount of next-level physics for its time and probably would've done more with physics than even valves half-life 1 for its time This game would've just thrown half-life one in the water if anyone asked for a game with a good amount of physics and graphical fidelity at the time.

Halo 1999 Looking Good 👍

This early version of Halo reminds me of some of those weird and ambitious open world PC games from the 90s like Outcast. Bac when you could wow players with big open environments even if they were really barren.

I want the Mac world models in CE on mcc both the completely unique one with the missile pod on his back, the one with the logos cause it has a unique back too. And even the E3 1999 model with the entena.

That covenant bomber should have been added in CE. The fuel rod cannon on the banshee couldn’t do jack sh** against elites, wraiths, and hunters

i’m glad they change the enemies they looked too much like half life textures.

If I make my own halo fan made game I would probably use every cut piece of content and remaster it.

I kinda would've preferred this earlier build instead of the FPS version of halo.

Halo Infinite better have those stuff

I would love to play this version of Halo. It sounded so cool. Hopefully someday a build of this version will get dumped. I wonder what the modding community would have looked like if we got this version of Halo instead of the one we know and love, or even how long the community would have lasted.

Might be a bit of stretch, but there's a possibility that the spear gun might've been reworked into the skewer for halo infinite, seeing as both are single-shots that launch high-velocity projectiles
