@@imza5535 Almost everything about that is correct besides multiplayer gameplay. when I think of multiplayer gameplay, it includes the entirety of custom games/forge/customization/progression and etc. Halo infinite literally has 0 of that and I'll prove it by listing just a couple things wrong with Infinite, it has no progression, no forge or proper custom games, almost 0 customization for players that dont wanna pay 10$ for an armor set, the matchmaking doesn't have performance based exp, it doesnt even have a proper level system, they filled the game with goofy cosmetics and armor that doesn't even look like halo anymore, it has a sad amount of multiplayer playlists to choose from, armor cores exist, you cant even choose your own colors and no proper service record. That's just a few off the top of my head, the campaign has alot of its own issues also. But theres no way that Infinite's multiplayer is better than Reach's, in fact out of all the Halo games Reach was probably the best in terms of Multiplayer Forge, Custom games, Customization, and Progression and Community. All of which Infinite does not have. The only thing that improved after bungie left was Forge and community custom game search with Halo 5, and Infinite doesn't even have that.
@@aaa-sz9ul from that standpoint I absolutely agree. However when I wrote that comment 4 months ago, I was thinking of multiplayer gameplay as the base mechanics in multiplayer such as weapons, abilities, sandbox interaction etc. Although infinite doesn't have much variety in it's sandbox I feel like the sandbox fits together more than that of reach's.
I actually kinda like it, it's subtle and it still gives the helmet as the main focal point. Whereas the others had a "giant arrow" pointing the the flame. Definitely not worth tier 100 tho.
@@imza5535 exactly, the design is great, plus the effects were actually built for it rather than being reused generic flame effects. My only issue is that it has a low frame rate, and lacks any interpolation.
How does Halo 4’s flame beat Infinite’s when it was a MCC addition? Obviously it should be better than 3 and Reach but with 343 Industries’ track record we can expect very little. For the lack of content and lackluster content in Infinite, they should have just ported content from previous games.
When I first installed halo infinite and looked at every item in the battle pass I wondered why the flames look like low res gifs and looked small and like shit.
@@gravy7944 I'd argue infinite looks the worst compared to all. They run at a lower frame rate than the game does and the flames don't really pertrude out the top of the head like the other games. Now there is an argument that making the flames smaller does help them not reveal your location behind cover
@@gravy7944 I suppose. Personally the older halo versions look better due to the games they are in next to the textures they are next to. And the higher frame rate on them allows the lower res to be masked better to the human eye. This is just my opinion, I think halo infinite looks like it's on 144p with 10fps while halo3 for example is 720p at 60fps. I don't know if I'm like, right or technically correct on anything. It's just what my eyes see.
Halo Infinite's flaming helmet is so lack luster. Maybe it isn't so prominent because the the flame effect is attached to the Spartan's neck and not the helmet. If they can raise it up higher I feel it would look at least halfway decent.
the effect is pretty weak/small and looks low like it's low frames and especially 2D, but I kind of like how it starts at the neck instead of the tip of the head. reminds me of ghost rider! would love to just see fire effects strengthened and polished across the board (inc. oddball, shoulder flames, etc) latenightgaming has an apt video on all the fire/explosion effects being pretty weak in infinite
While it does look the weakest, Infinite's rendition is the most realistic and I like how it's not bigger than the helmet like Halo 4 Reach still has the best though
I'm seriously struggling with Infinite's lack of attention to detail and making Halo into Overwatch with its teen friendly no blood and neon colored outlines.
halo infinite lack of details is annoying. Explosions are lame. vehicle explosions, like wtf is even that exposion. No blood. People say it feels like halo 3/ reach. NO it's nothing like halo 3, halo 3 had details of blood explosions. Halo reach felt gritty and detailed explosions, civilians dying (which infinite will never show anything close to that) Halo infinite feels more like fortnite, no details.
I like Infinite's the best. Sue me. I'm not gonna sit there and go LOL IT LOOKS BAD when it doesn't. Grow up. You don't have to hate things for being new
