I kind of dig this map so far. Looks like it has a solid mid lane perfect for large scale gunfights and the laser in the middle is genuinely really cool. Reminds me of zanzibar from halo 3 with the way you can get the secret bridge and lower the gates. I honestly wish more maps had that type of interaction that sort of changes the way you maneuver and play. Color pallet is pretty bland though. Looks like the Mars segments from doom 2016 which were also pretty stinky. I do love the blue pool of lava. I don't get it or understand why it's there but I dig the bright blue. All in all, interesting map but I don't think Halo Infinite has enough players anymore lmao
@1993DJC A laser firing into an empty pit occasionally isn't going to do anything. Once in a million years you might have to slightly wait a second or drive slightly to the side to get over the pit. The wheel in Zanzibar can be used to get to another level quicker to get rockets and swords. It can also mess up or help flag carrier runs. The laser is useless. Zanzibar's wheel has a billion times more impact.
@1993DJC Not even close to the impact of the wheel. The wheel enabled new elevations, provided cover, and blocked vehicles if you didn't time your jump (which was pretty hard, given how angular momentum works) The laser, even when it's on, is literally just a stack of killballs on a track. You can't interact with it. You can shoot right through it. It moves so slow and predictably that it may as well just be set dressing, and if a hog somehow loses control and swerves or gets pushed into it, then they were never clearing the gap anyway. Frankly the stunt ramp its placed over will kill more players than that thing.
@@thelvadam90 its broken af. They ruined the helmets. AGAIN. And im about to swich to PS. 343i ruined my love for halo. And i liked 5! So this is bad news. I mean, you got to sit around waiting a chicken fight for them to give you 0.1% XP.
