The Reel Rejects yep they’ve brought back the old artsyle, shield sound, music, armour, weapon looks. Everything exactly how I and the majority of the community wanted it. Couldn’t be more happier tbh
I’m hoping they fixed this from the other halo games. The original trilogy was perfect. ODST and Reach are also great because of the story and soundtrack. That was when bungie ran the series. When Halo 4 came out it had its ups and downs. The story I thought was good but the game play and controls were a big problem. Then came Halo 5. That’s where it crashed. The multiplayer wasn’t good the campaign was boring the maps were to small in both campaign and multiplayer and the soundtrack was nothing compared to the original. I’m crossing my fingers they listened to the fans.
Right you are. But the fact that they’re still relying on this franchise, especially to launch their next gen console shows the have little up their sleeves as far as originality
@@twistednipz7182 there hasn't been a halo game for a while. There is more story, just like god of war, last of us, uncharted, gears of war. Its just halo is there biggest game. If i remember correctly, halo was the first game that came with the original xbox so it makes sense. Like God of war is to ps4 or uncharted. I love the halo world and so much more story of master chief thats from the books
@@twistednipz7182 its still the same halo just because its being made by another company doesn't mean it does feel the same. Nothing has changed, the music hasn't changed, only thing that has changed are the graphics because graphics are becoming better and better, graphics are being improved more and more each time. I dont know if you know this, a lot of bungie employees stayed and went with 343 to make more halo, just because its not the name bungie doesn't mean they aren't there, they created 343 for that reason. And since halo 4 they want to continue more after 3 like what happens after 3 and continue adding things from the books. I love the story because each halo leaves off with a cliffhanger so you know it continues from the previous one, more story. You may not like it halo because "its not the same" but a lot of people still do because there's so much story so much more lore.
I love the little detail that nobody seems to notice that shows the strength of the chief. Notice how much effort it takes for the pilot to open the sliding door, then later the chief basically touches it and it opens
Daniel Dunlap it was also a combination of CE, 2, and 3 music. The drums from halo CE, the vocals Halo 2 from when he jumped out of the pelican and the subtle piano notes being halo 3.
it was a combination of CE, 2, and 3 music. The drums from halo CE, the vocals Halo 2 from when he jumped out of the pelican and the subtle piano notes being halo 3. Im gonna love this game.
I grew fond of echo 419 foehammer, now pelican echo 216. In minutes, I felt a connection with him. It was purely emotional. I hope he stays till the end of the game...
i haven't been this excited for a game reveal since e3 2011 for halo 4. Please don't disappoint us 343. By the looks of it, seems they are putting their all into this single project worthy for fans
I love how Paula is now full blown Doctor Who obsessed and it's taken over her wardrobe. Oh, and the Red vs blue reference was cool too. I'm stoked for this game. That's about as good of a cinematic trailer as you can ask for.
I dont really think it gets reaction worthy until season 5 or 6. Maybe not even til season 7. Th entire series is still great but it has kind of a rough start in my opinion.
I always loved how Halo has kind of played about the idea of Chief coming to terms with humanity over being engineered as a machine of war especially in Halo 4 whether the stories of the recent games were good or not I always found that part of the story the most intriguing.
It's also interesting when you consider, through the fluff material, that the UNSC isn't exactly uh...'lawful good'. They took control of the world due to the size and scale of the Covenent war and now it's over they aren't exactly in a rush to give it back. There was a great radio drama about a guy writing Chief's biography. The UNSC set him with people who said they knew him as a kid, in training etc, and as the guy dug deeper he realized it was all a cover. The entire time the military had been selling this idea that Chief was just a normal guy, because the Spartans were definately no volunteers. I remember in one interview, 343 said they wanted to explore that side of the Haloverse in future titles, as well as Chief coming to terms with his own humanity.
Honestly I kinda hope it's not, I wanna play through what happened to the halo ring and what happened to the UNSC, I really REALLY dont like expositional dialogue
Every time a new Halo is being introduced/I play one, I get the same excitement I did 2001, chillsss. The Halo story and it's characters are so incredible and beautiful. And Chief, the ultimate badass good guy with the epic voice.🙌
It’s a little sad why he’s so quick to dismiss emotion. War is all he’s known since childhood. He’s been through so much violence and trauma that he’s blunt and quick to the point. He knows what he has to do and it doesn’t matter if a small number of people die in the process. The mission comes first.
One of my favorite parts of the trailer: When the ship gets all zapped to Hell chief looks over at Mystery Marine like "You good? Aight bet" and THEN proceeds to arm himself.
That suit is clean because it’s a refined fusion of Halo 2 and 3 with the movie Halo unto dawn but it look less dusty and its lighter then the movie suit
The one detail when it comes to the passage of time that I think just about everyone misses is the battery on the message actually depleting as the camera spun around the device, seriously you can see it going from green to yellow then to red as that camera spins around.
So the chief was in a coma. The spartan armour can keep an Spartan is coma until he/she has be rescued. That’s the second time that’s happened to the chief. Start of halo 3 he re entered earths atmosphere and impacted on earth. Causing the armour to lock.
I personally loved H5 tbh, better than H4 or reach competitively speaking and story wise it caught me off guard pleasantly. Think most people just didn’t like how Cortana was made out to be the villain in H5 tbh but to me I like the unexpected.
Eh, I think it was the combination of Cortana being the villain and Master Chief barely being in the game is what made most people dislike it, personally those are the reasons I disliked it.
James Garretson he was in it the same amount as spartan Locke I feel like, if not a bit more. Don’t get me wrong I see ur point tho but I think it’s also good that they’re not treating halo like ur standard shooter and just going with an easily predictable storyline with just one or two main characters and everybody else is very much a side character.
@@VulcanEditing Actually, someone like counted how long you play as Master Chief and how long you play as Locke and found you play as Locke most of the time, I think it was like 66% (I don't remember who, or how long it was it might have been 60%, this was years ago). Still, to each their own.
Great video, been so long since last I checked in. Not sure what happened, but apparantly I had been unsubbed. Back now though and your content is still awesome. Take care, my man.
Still a little concerned because there were some rumors awhile back that this will be a live service, but the trailers we have gotten so far look very promising'
As a Halo fan since 2 weeks after the release of Halo: Combat Evolved (the first game on the OG XBOX back in 2001), let me tell you that the gameplay has NOT always been awesome. It was for Halo 1 - 3, but Halo 4 and Halo 5 were far from "Halo" games. From a technical standpoint, they were good. And Halo 5 multiplayer actually improved a lot of the mistake Halo 4's made. But ever since 343 Industries took over the franchise from Bungie, Halo hasn't been the same. And the gameplay is just one of many things they radically changed for no reason, and NOT for the better. They did it to be more generic and to try to broaden the appeal as much as possible. Which isn't what Halo ever was, and is not what made it great to begin with. This game, however, seems to be reverting to it's Halo 1 through 3 roots, which is the best news the Halo community of fans has seen/heard in about a decade. The hype is very real.
You should react to the Elden Ring CGI trailer next, it's an open world game created by FROMSOFTWARE, the same people who created Dark Souls, and it's written by George R. R. Martin.
