I don't ever see Chief dying. The reason being for marketing. MC is the face of Microsoft gaming. Killing off Chief would be like Nintendo killing Mario.

Wait do any of you realize that 343 might be going for a semi mirror trilogy Halo CE = crash land on ring, find a ton of problems Halo 4 = crash land on shield world, find a bunch of problems Halo 2 = part story play as chief, part story play as arbiter Halo 5 = play part story as chief, play part (ahem, most) story as Locke I don't know guys, feels like the writings on the wall, Halo 3 and Halo 6 will have similarities... Me myself, I'm thinking there's gonna be a big revelation or tragedy half way through

Halo 6 is 343's last chance for me.

I think after Halo 6, they need to make spinoffs based off the human covenant war. Go back like 15 years before Halo C.E. Play as a spartan team who witness planet after planet being glass. Losses after losses, no victories. Halo needs a game like that. It will obviously have classic gameplay and Halo Wars 2 cinematics art style/darker theme.

I'm pretty sure the squad will be Chief, Arby, Loche and Buck.

What about two guns at one time.

Things I want to see: -the spirit of fire crew -atriox vs the arbiter -more swords of sangelios -uneasy hostile interactions between Halsey and Anders -a badass scene with a brute ripping a promethean apart -all the weapons and vehicles -classic art style and music -large expansive levels -more promethean types -but most of all a good story with fun gameplay

Spartan ops + the banished + swords of sanghelios sounds like a perfect way to bring back playable elites

I think the master chief getting fed up and/overwhelmed emotionally, then embarking on a quest he feels will leave the world in a stable state, then disappearing(without dying) will be the perfect ending

The promethian thing aready happened in Halo 4. we already distroyed the composer. in Halo Escalation Blue team distroyed more composers. I hope it will be Cortana, Elites, Humans vs Brutes... then shit hits the fan n we have to battle Medicate Bias and the flood

I honestly want chief to retire instead of die. Also, I wonder how the flood will factor in to halo 6, because they are confirmed to be on the installation at the end of halo 5 by the awakening the nightmare dlc. I also think halo 7 will happen as it is the reclaimer SAGA, not trilogy, and there is just to much to cram into one game anyway. Halo 6 is not being rushed as much, which is great. Halo 6 will be interesting and could be amazing.

I do not want to fight Prometheans in Halo 6. They are TERRIBLE enemies.

What if there’s an escort mission with at least one of the alternate characters? So, like Fred, Locke, Linda, Buck, etc. Also, the Composer turned peeps into Prometheans. It was actually a major plot point of Halo 4. It did vaporise some people, but it’s alternate use was a transformation. “And these cutscenes can’t go for very long unless you’re Hideo Kojima.” YES. THANK YOU. I’ve always hated how every Metal Gear Solid cutscene goes on for what feels like hours. Hell, MGS4, I’m pretty sure, got the award for “longest cutscenes in a video game.”

Now that the dlc Awakening the Nightmare for HW2 is out, if 343 were to tie HW2 with Halo 6 I think the flood would somehow be relevant in the later parts of the story, possibly becoming the main antagonists again and the prometheans, being created originally to fight the flood, would shift from being antagonists to allies

One thing halo really needs to get right is including everything on release and make sure its not taking up all the hard drive space on the xbox. On twitter LNG and me were talking about the huge download size of halo 5 exceeding 100gb when compared to Witcher 3 that was less than 70gb... what is taking up all that space! I hope that halo 6 will do whats right to make the game as fun as possible right after release and as small as possible on peoples hard drives.

I have a feeling the flood is going to take over as the main villain. Maybe after encountering the flood, chief convinces cortana that he needs her to defeat the flood and she decides to join chief to finish the fight...again.

If they were to retire Masterchief, I would be fine with Jerome assuming Chiefs role. Look at how he was portrayed in HW2.

What i would like to see: Humanity and the allied Covenant alliing with one of the Sparks against Cortana and Warden being hijacked by the Spark and then joining them.

Judging by the trailers, the products (toys), Bungie's old concept art, I believe 343 are going with the Bungie Roots mixed with theirs.

Personally, I want Master Chief's story to end like in Halo 4's epilogue. It shows how much he's been through with countless of war and and friends that sacrificed their lives for him. Him taking off the armour shows that he is not the Master Chief, but simply John, a human.

Also I'm loving this Renns Reviews guy. I wish this guy was writing the script for Halo 6's story. Some of his predictions would give me chills, what a true and great Halo fan.

My prediction (and hope): Mendicant Bias will either turn out to be using the logic plague on Cortana, (he could have learned it having been plagued by the Primordial) OR ally with chief to bring back Cortana.

Yo half way through just wanted to say i really enjoy this speculation on the plot of halo 6 some good ideas from both people exciting to think that maybe halo could make a rebound in the story. Very entertaining thank you Act Man and Renn!

If the purpose of Halo 6 is to nullify Halo 5, then you're screwed.

Bring back the ability to play as Elites. Invasion was a really fun game mode and I'd love to see it again. Be pretty cool to play as Brutes, too, I think. Maybe a vs campaign or something. Ultimately I'd like a new series entirely. Maybe one that circles around The Arbiter. If I recall correctly, there was a rebellion on Sanghelios after the Covenant fell.

ok so what if chief dies in halo 6 trying to fix Cortanas mess like you guys discussed and she has to live with it forever but because shes good now and she wants to fix the universe because she can never fill the void that the chief left behind and her guilt's so too strong that she cant just do nothing so she takes on another spartan as his/her's new A.I and its this really convoluted story between the two Cortanas to protective now and her new spartan just wants to do his/her's job and they forum a bond over the stories Cortana eventually shares with the new spartan as they grow closer together stories we've never even have heard stories that'll make you wanna cry.... maybe who know more info on noble 6. Just an idea tho don't get mad for wanting to kill chief off the right way or at least a way that sounds good to me XD

It would be cool to have spartan ops be told in a way like the OG trilogy was like, except on a smaller scale, somewhat. I like the concept of spartan ops, it was cool and the cutscenes were well done, imo. but it needed more flesh to the bone

I predict Microsoft will give early copies to anyone and for some reason let them share the whole game 2 days before it’s available to the public

First few steps to making Halo Great Again (Campaign wise). 1. 343i stop listening to the whiny fanboys who can't criticise worth of shit and act like the Halo games made by Bungie are masterpieces when I can easily criticize all of them. 2. Mix the old and new art styles together. Keep the old design for the Banished and the new design for everything else (except for the Spartan IV multiplayer design). 3. Put a more of a horror feel (CE) and a sense of discovering ancient Forerunner/Precursor machines (4) in together. There's this thing called SHOW SLOWLY don't TELL US TOO SOON (5). 4. Make the Spartans IVs a little bit less of show offs and don't kill off the bad guy who's been in the books in one cutscene. 5. Don't rely *fully* on expanded material to tell the full story because most people can't read them or refuses to read it and the ones that do are even more pissed off because the universe is so dark and they decide to poorly tell it? 6. Give us a few lone wolf missions because some people may infer that without the fireteam the Spartan program in general is useless which isn't the case. 7. No more misleading ads. 8. Tell Microsoft to stay the fuck out of Halos production. 9. If it ain't broke don't fix it. 10. Don't release an unfinished product at launch. These are some reasons how I would correct the franchise.

As long as there is no Spartan lock it will be good the only reason why I don't like Spartan lock is because he somehow defeats master cheif and steals the spot light despite master cheif in my opinion be a almost invicable charcter who is undeafted

the part at the end reminded me as to why i was so happy i got halo wars and odst in 2020. i was able to experience a really good new halo game for the first time in so many years, after the previous installation had me disappointed.

I don't like the way Renn referrs Fred, Linda, and Kelly as Garbage Characters and "B" Characters, if anything they are a very important part to the story, people are wanting Halo to focus more on Chief, so this would require FLK (Fred, Linda, and Kelly) because they are a key part in Masterchief's hisyory, they are active parts within his life, and after being separated for so long and to be reunited is a big deal for John, they are his childhood and combat brother and sisters in arms, so for him to disregard their (small) part in Halo is trouble some

I think that Master Chief is gonna have a *"noble 6 moment"* but much more mysterious. We never saw N6 get stabbed, though its likely he/she died; he/she can still be listed *missing in action*. I think there is just sipmly no other option than make MC missing in action! *ITS JUST TOO PERFECT!* xD It has basically been the whole theme for spartans since Halo 3.

I believe if they have Marty O'Donnell as the music composer, it'll instantly be better or the composer from Installation 01 would be cool too. I really missed that I C O N I C (HiddenXperia) Halo vibe.

If they go with chief retiring I think there should be a seen like this John is sitting in a small diner with a newspaper and coffee in hand as he sees a small hand place a master chief figuring on the table. He looks up and sees a smiling kid with mothers hands on the kids shoulder asking for an autograph, chief smiles as you finally see his face in the final moment of halo

I can’t help but notice that no one mentioned the Flood in this video. Plus I don’t know if it’s just me, but I really want a Flood horror game were you play as a marine or civilian, sort of like the Mona Lisa and it’ll be a side game just like Halo 3 ODST. And finally the first four Halo games that Bungie came out with, took place during the last year, of the 30 year war between the Humans vs the Covenant, so I don’t see why we can’t explore more of that time period prior to Halo Reach in a few side games. This would allow more Halo fans that don’t read the books, to get to know blue team and the rest of the Spartans some more.

Here is my idea for Halo 6. So your guys idea was good, blue team and osiris do there thing, but wut I think is, everyone in blue team and osiris will do there own thing, but except for the chief and locke, so instead of there being two chief's, or something like that, u (the first player) as chief and your buddy (the second player) can be locke, so they can kinda team up, and make it a little bit more realistic. Or if that doesn't work than your buddy, or the second player, can be the arbiter, everyone loves him!! I think because of arbiter halo 2 was such a great game, and I'm not saying that he is the only reason why halo 2 is a good game. So if 343 could bring that shine back to halo 6, that would be awesome!! And at one point blue team and osiris can be on hole fire team, and take down cortana, or who ever the bad guy is. One more thing for 343, if they are going to make cortana bad, just kill her, but if they are going to make her good, than make her some big machine or weapon that osiris and blue team can use to destroy the bad guy. I hope u read this :)

This was super interesting to hear! I don't really know how it's going to go. I hope halo 6 is amazing, and is playable on PC. I'm a massive halo fan but haven't played since Halo 4.I barely played halo 4 and moved on to pc games since. I still love the series though.
