Seriously there’s so much legacy armor from the bungee games and earlier 343 games and they keep giving us this damn gimmicky armor that isn’t even canon
It makes sense now that the devs said they hate guns and having it sci fi is enough of a separation for them. Don’t expect anything actually human or military themed. It’s all fantasy slop.
it was implied that the op after Tenrai was going to be basically tactical ops ii, "spartan surplus." it had MK IV stuff but it was replaced by this for some reason.
I hope more Firefight maps come. That's about all I'd play and I need map variaty. There is still plenty of maps they can bring in. Both dev made and forge.
I didn't even continue the tenrai even 💀 idk man the passes are kinda lame with barely any cosmetics but shop bundles that could be in the pass. But oh well gg 343
Why can't 343 do anything right? I've tried for so long to like Halo Infinite but I just can't force it anymore... I thought buying some stuff from the shop would help but it really hasn't. Is this the genuine future of Halo? Just... more shop updates... no new weapons or maps...
They have been doing it since Halo 4 with the art style change, and now they want to reboot the whole seires. the message this sends is very clear - this is OUR game and will do whatever WE feel like doing with it based on what other games are doing, for example, that terrible ui menu system was obviously inspired by battle royals like fortnight not to mention they literally brought the game down to a teen rating and all just to attempt to draw in that crowd because they already know fans of the series will play the game regardless if they hate it your still a statistics that they get to say "oh look at all these people playing" and give off a successful appearance when really most who played felt disappointed. No more nerds, just old men in suits. :(
It seriously feels like with the amount of Mk IV items and amount of banished themed armors since the Yappening that we were meant to get season 6 and 7... Infinite is in such a good state now, I just want to see new sandbox items. This game is fun to hop into every so often, but it isn't a weekly game for me anymore. The map repetition helps add to the feeling that not much new is added anymore. I've been feeling that since Season 4.
season 6 and 7 were 10000% MK IV and banished battle passes. literally no reason for them to be scrapped seeing the amount of armour made for them besides making the actual content drops smaller.
There is an Invasion game mode in customs thats on a Reach map. Its fun and The invaders fight alongside the Banished and the defenders fight alongside Marines. Its a very fun game mode and i hope 343 add it to the Playlist cause i definitely miss playing Invasion from Halo: Reach. Bringing it back with more than one map would be dope.

I was looking forward to spartan surplus because it would add more Mk.IV armor customization and i wanted the leg equipment from it. I'm not really interested in the banished armor.
This game is in great shape. The game is fun and beginner friendly. But there are no people. We need buzz. Collaborate with DOOM or GEARS and make maps themed around them. Maybe we could get power armor or starborn. Elite players are super cool and that's what I want most, but they can't do it.
aw man i was really looking forward for Mark IV Armor in Spartan Surplus but instead 343 went for change of plans and goes for my least favorite core which is the rakasha 😕😕
I’m from TikTok, a fan suggested ur account to me. (I’m at work to I haven’t played the new event yet) Honestly I think knowing the content updates that 343 will fumble on many things. Invasion, the armors, and helioskrill although the lore is usually really good
The bladed stuff doesn't appeal to me, but the chest and hip look pretty clean. Maybe the comparison to tenrai is just that I already had a lot of options for yoroi vs fewer for rakshasa, but two pieces to actually equip is probably a step up imo.
I hope so! But realistically nah, I think at this point they're being saved for the next title. Similar to how I think the Mongoose was tested in Halo 3?

Infinites depressing man. I can’t even complete the tenrai event. Sparks just gone for me. The continues neglect to do anything big with Infinite just digs its grave deeper.
@MAGPIELEON I’m so glad that surplus was replaced with this. And Assailer is made by the Banished!!! So that’s a plus on my side. And you may disagree with what I would say but any banished armor sets deserve my money. Especially the Jackal sets made by the Banished.
This is the exact mindset that put halo and alot of big name games in this Shit hole in the first place. "itS WorTh tHe MOneY" No it's not. The game itself isn't worth the money, that being FREE. They made this 'Game' and it's just another Fortnight inspired shooter where they value your wallet more than the quality of product they deliver. People like you ruined gaming just so you know.
