I love Reach, but one thing that has always frustrated me was how slowly some characters would rotate. I'm looking at you, Noble Team, and every army trooper.
That intro is just the best poor grunt shoots twice, misses emile : "you're gonna die" [fires a single shot] the grunt gets thrown back a meter really cool that he dodges the sticky, never noticed that in game also the "that was for jorge" "and that for kat" is so good, why can't you hear it in game even with iwhbyd on?
I think "That's for Jorge" or "for Kat" are common dialogue, so by turning on the IWHBYD skull, it actually reduces the likelyhood of triggering those lines.
It's interesting to watch. The reach AI is not meant for Emile's shotgun, BUT, you see that the AI prioritises avoiding grenades and heavy weapons, so Emile does BETTER against five grunts with the fuel rod gun than he does against the Needler grunts. He flanks the Jackal, so the AI is aware of shielding, but at several points you see the AI floundering when it walked away from enemies and had to sort out a new target. Makes it look like a player confused where to go next.
When Emile was fighting the invis elite I had said there’s no way he wins, and then he took him down in one hit, and when he looked at the camera and said the line I got chills

It did feature an evolved form of AI combat that is hard to come by today. Most Developer's now day's just don't put as much effort into their games anymore.
Just pointing out that five dudes with the CE Magnum killed him with three remaining, but regular marines with the AR only had two left. And I think this definitively proved which of the two games has the definitive shotgun... goodness, Reach's shotty hits like a wet noodle, even up close!
Can you do jackals or skirmishers vs endless infection forms? I wonder which is better, the shields or mobility? That and flood vs flood. What happens when infection form attacks and enters an enemy combat form? How about endless popcorn vs the other flood? How do they react?
With the amount of taunts Emile constantly throws out, it makes for some really fun dialogue moments with the elites and marines 4:49 "I'm gonna send you all straight to hell!" "Come on, tough guy" 5:01 'outmelees an invisible zealot' "you think I'm scared of you alien freaks!?" 5:11 "I'm gonna cut you up!" 'dies' "Try me." 6:12 "I'm gonna cut you up!" 'Gets cut up' "you think so?" 11:02 "I'm gonna make you bleed!" "How about some o' this?!" Shout out to that one marine who clearly had something to say to altehros at 10:25 "who's idea was this anyway?" Also 16:40 and 17:04 "I put my fingers around your mom's neck and squeezed as hard as I could" and how uncomfortable guilty spark sounds when at 16:57 master burger follows it with "let's put an end to this"TF YOU BEEN READING ALTEHROS
SPOILER Emile wins 30-24. The 2 rounds that Emile’s team and the Halo 1 team both died I have given them a point. So if we take away those points it’s 28-22. Emile’s A.I. was pretty bad most rounds either spam jumping, rarely shooting his guns and only really getting most kills from Melee
