i remember this coming on when i first played reach in my early teens and this guitar riff comes on as you get told to clear the hold, felt like a badass, halo rock is something else
I always wondered if the Spartan in the picture about to be stabbed actually survives that or not. Does the Spartan in the back with the machine gun save him? Or is it to late?
Since the Spartans have a really small reaction time, I guess either the machine gun one could at least prevent a deadly stab, or the "soon to be stabbed" one could punch that split hard enough to get out
my headcanon has always been that the Spartan heavy with the machine gets off a few rounds, which don't break shields but split the Elite's focus - and as he turns to look at the guy who shot him, the grappled Spartan in blue pulls out his combat knife and sheathes it in the Elite's skull.
@@McGuireMotionProductions Dooms tracks are way heavier than this, not saying Engaged and Dead Ahead are bad, they're fuckin amazing. Just saying Doom has much heavier tracks
Reach has a near-perfect campaign, but I have one big complaint: the cutscene with the Zealots in the first mission should have been the first encounter you have with Covenant, or at least the first time you see Elites.
Doesn’t make sense from a gameplay perspective to be wandering around and then encounter the hardest enemies in the game. Still we encounter a few of the devoted sentries anyways at the end. But yeah it sounds cool but doesn’t work mate
imagine you broke into someones home and you hear someone upstairs say "Alexa, play Engaged." you are no longer a threat. you fucked with the wrong house.
