HALO 3 HALO:REACH siege of madrigal (extended version) sorry, i forgot to mention and when some people mentioned it i will write down the disclaimer: this is not my song
This was played at my Great-Grandma funeral because of me,Everyone asked me what song shall it be, so i said this. cause, basically, this has summed out hers, and my life...she was as much of an grandma as ill probably ever have again... Miss you grandma.
@@albal156 You can flip the banshee with grenades before the elite gets on it during the Two Betrayals mission. It’s hard to do at first but you get used to it.
This song reminds me of old times with me and halo, halo has come a long way from pc to xbox, but this is not just a game its a friend that has changed my life for the better, me and my friends are closer now through the good times me and my friends playing halo, dont just think its a game because its not just a game, its friendship to, since 343 took over it completly changed what i thought about halo, but this song reminds me of older times when i played halo, remember halo... As a friend
+Sharon Middleton same here aswell ive played halo from the begining and i felt an emotional attachment to it ever since but 343 turned halo from halo to call of duty in the future i truly hope that bungie takes over again or 343 gets there crap together because so far i know halo 5 is only slightly better then halo 4 maybe some day bungie can delay destiny and get the legal halo rights back
same here man, I remember getting all my friends together and doing random things in multiplayer like trying to win on sandtrap using just the elephant, I remember me and my buds trying for countless hours to get the scarab gun in Halo 3, and the satisfaction after we got it, I remember flying to the top of the citadel and listening to this, I Miss the good halo, "Send me out... with a bang" Srg, Jonson, Halo 3
yes ... before it was completely beautiful to play halo, I was going to play in a game room where you could play with people from the same room, it was very fun, quite a lot, I enjoyed it a lot, everyone in that room, even if we played to win, It was quite fun and we only talked about halo, it was small but they are moments that I will not forget, nor the moments that I had fun playing in cooperative offline with friends, cousins and brothers, as you say, it is like a friend, a good friend.
343 esta haciendo un trabajo brutal con Infinite, es momento de reconocerle las buenas cosas que ha hecho por la franquicia y es que ellos se lo toman como un estilo de vida y lo tratan con mucho amor.
I remember from my childhood seeing a scene of brutes VS marines and this song was playing, as it went through eventually it got to master chief being held up by a chieftain the whole thing stops. Master chief then raises his head and holds up a sticky grenade. Screen goes black and I scream "MASTER CHIEF DON'T DIE!"
If Master Chief dies... the series dies... and we will never move on... keep fighting John, Spartans never die. But I remember going “holy fuck!” Too when I thought he’d die to save others with that grenade.
I found this song in halo 3 with my old friend i had fun with, the old times were fun, not just the campain, it was xbox live with my buddys and the clan i was in, i loved halo 3 and reach multyplayer, its just this song takes me back when me and my friends had a good laugh on halo, mostly easter eggs
I hope all of you were as or almost as happy with destiny as you were with halo like I was. we will never forget the magnum snipes of halo:ce, the first time playing as an elite on halo 2, or the mongoose tricks of halo 3.
I've been listening to this over the years, and as time went on, I've come to use this song to vent. It's a massive shame that this is being forgotten, its so beautiful
When I listen this masterpiece, I cry à little because in my childhrood, I play Halo on Xbox with my best friend. So many fun. I want to revive this périod. Sorry for my English
HALO... it has partly made me who I am today. The music... the story... and the man in the suit in HALO 1-3. and more. I met great friends in Matchmaking, and learned how to see thing in a different eye. John-117 is my Hero, how he handles situations awes me always. I remember I always wanted to be just like him (in a girl version), Strong, Smart, and Brave. Bungie, thank you to the stars in the universe, to earths deepest core. HALO will always be in a special place in my heart.
LOL...I didn't to truly appreciate Halo, until I read Halo Fall of Reach. The detailed description of the spartan II augmentation is cruel but awesome. Don't forget that the chance of death or permanent disfigurement is higher than you'd want.
I remembered listening to this video a long time ago thinking it's the best one. Crazy it's 12 years old and this great song & easter egg is being forgotten along with the rest of Bungie Halo.
If Chief dies in Halo 6 this better play and it'll be like The Chief and Arby fighting a horde of Promethean's and while trying to escape Chief gets grabbed by a knight and is stabbed through the chest then Arby Head shots the knight and kills it then he starts to carry Chiefs body like Batman does to Joker in Arkham city, While this is happening, Chief is able to say his last words "The fight.... Is finished. Send me out, with a bang".....
imagine playing playing any of the halo's on legendary and you remembered from old days you could trigger a hidden music queue so you work your ass off to get it done. once it starts playing you feel a sence of peace and happyness. and then feel sad the music dies down and shortly after continue on your voyage that is HALO.
Hey John, don't forget that your human. That part of you isn't dead like with the others. You just grew up into a better one. Never forget that. I want you to have a family one day man. With kids. Cortana in the flesh. Is that so much to ask.. Or are you going to die some glorious death in a major explosion like everyone else. Monuments erected in your name. Fade into legend as you move through in space in a cryo chamber or something? :/
Dylan Begazo In destiny there's a master chief easter egg where he's apparently in a cryogenic chamber which would mean he lives, not sure if 343 will honor that or not but it's a possibility
I love this... Bring back many eye flooding memories. I am a gamer at heart, more than anything. I have learnt so much from people who don't even exist. But Halo? Bungie? I have gamed all of my life. And I have always, ALWAYS, owned a Halo game. I'm sorry, but for those people out there that call this series, this franchise, no it's more than that, this unforgettable experience of ideas, works and theories. This monument. Has brought me more happiness and memories than anything. I love Halo.
Halo is the most beautiful Game ever, in art, story, and music. Halo wasn't just a game, it was a Journey, an experience i will always remember. Thank u Bungie forever.....
Halo brought us together. With a community of millions of people around the world, Halo still must live on to this day. But we must still remember the games that made Halo what it is today. Nothing can ever be the same, never be like how it was in 2007. Never Forget, December 7, 2018. Hope you all still listen to this song and play these games, making more memories.
Hearing this again brings me back memories... of halo 1 ce For those who are searching the original track, is a version from newgrounds created by "Catstuffer", he also created a video tutorial of this song but it's privated ...
When listening to this in Halo 3, with the wrecks of the two scarabs and preparing to kill truth... Looking back at all the chaos and destruction, thinking about humanitys fight... This song just gives you the sense of that sadness and desperation... Marty O'donnell is one hell of a composer.
This song and Never Forget are in my opinion the best songs throughout gaming history. If you look away from the Zelda series. They're just naturally musical.
Madrigal was a UNSC colony that was glassed, yes, but this song was originally made for one of the games bungie had originally made, called myth, thats what its from, but none the less Halo is an amazing saga and this song is incredible
343 is comprised with a handful of senior bungie staff that were there at the start of bungie in the 90's. Im sure theyll keep up on putting this in any future halo related content. The idea of putting easter eggs int a halo game is more than a tradition, its something that any halo fan has come to expect.
It's in various secret places in all Halo games. I don't remember where it is in Halo 3, but in Reach it's in the Easter egg room and a remixed version is played if you do the dance party Easter egg on the Falcon level.
This song is originally from a bungie game named "Myth". Though, halo CE, 2, 3 and reach had an easter egg to listen to this song. Still, a great song. Bungie, you rock. :)
i love halo. i remembre being in my room playing custom games that were crazy with friends. my mom geting ready for night shift. my dad working. i miss it. being in my room eating chips laughing and just having a good time! what happend, fells like thoose days are over.
ill still be playing these games when im 80. ill be buried with them and ill rot with them. ill go to after life and carry on playing them. that is the meaning of life.
fellow nerds of the Halo franchise we are gathered here to mourn the loss of our beloved game 343 has only made it a fraction of What it once was and like many others i Hope we SEND IT OF WITH A BANG
halo 1 is perfect, halo 2 had awesome new features but level design was awful (playing as arbiter was fun it fleshed him out alot), halo 3 was a classic (no complaints), halo 4 had a great story but it just didn't feel halo because of loadouts and music (though I loved the new take in music), halo reach had similar problems to halo 2 in level design (although some levels were amazing, 1st one, long night of solace, exodus) but it just wasn't satisfying like halo 3 was, halo 5 campaign is shit and dead mainly because of microsoft (if you watch late night gaming) although multiplayer GAMEPLAY is perfect. Used to hate halo 3 odst but now I love it and wars was good too.
So many fucking memories... I remember when I heard this soundtrack at the first time, it was awesome, and I remember when I had a friend too, technically he was my master on this amazing game... It was good times, thank you bungie, I'll never forget you..
... this made me cry in my heart, the Halo story is so sad but epic at the same time, with all the sacrifices and heroic things John 117, Linda, All of Noble Team, The Arbiter, The Forerunners, And even, The Covenant did. Halo teaches me make sacrifices for the better good and never surrender, never give up what your fighting for because it is worth something, that's why John 117 is still alive, because of Noble Team, and every other Noble and Awesome Spartan did, This is why I love Halo,
@88472456, Yup Johnson was an ORION, so was Ssgt. Byrne (from Halo Contact Harvest) and a few others. Because, after the ORIONs were deactivated, they ususally went into certain other branches of the UNSC, so Byrne and Johnson went into the Marines, and the others went to other branches.
this song makes me cry it makes me think if halo was real life imagine how wed all live how wed all feel what would happen wed think of those who lost there lives for the human race instread of getting kill streaks or being a MLG pro i dont play halo for the winning i play it for fun but whenever i here this song i think i feel sorry for the charectors that have died this is a beutiful song and i love it forever Halo forever
@XDphobia Because you got an A+ ima listen to this song over thanksgiving break while doing my biologu project. By your statement i may get an A, with my luck a D but hell we'll see. Lol also nice job
I just wanna cry listen up this song, my life isn't everytime beautiful but just hearing one time this song, it makes me so happy...We all love O'donnel and Salvatori, and thanks Bungie for your games which are so marvelous.
Im sure a thousand people in the comments have already told you but its been in ONE spot in every halo game so far. ONE. In ONE mission of campaign. So reasonably speaking, it will probably be in halo 4. My xbox friend and I a couple of years ago were derping around the Halo 3 level "The Covenant" and we found the spot by accident!! We didnt even know that we did until this particular easter egg became popular among the halo community. Thought id share that pointless story ^_^
i meant the flood part :p as for which halo is best, apples and oranges. we each have our own opinions, and we should respect that. i never heard about the fan made game though :O thanks for telling me.
