The storyline for the show leaves a lot to be desired. Doesn't hold a candle to the OG storyline, but the fight scenes in season 2 were dope and the Elites look fucking sweet. I love the way the arbiter fights / moves. Absolutely epic how he destroyed Chief's energy sword at 12:51.
@@panthers1997 it may be garbage to the halo purist but the watch time says people are enjoying it. Halo fans seem to feel entitled to the series as if it’s more important to them who cares if you like it watch it if not don’t.
@@bryanthurtado4081 You have to understand where "Halo fans" are coming from. The producers of this show looked at the original source material, and said, "Nah, I could do better," which comes across as extremely narcissistic considering that the original source material is HALO, a critically acclaimed franchise. Halo was a book before it was a game, and it already had well established lore and story, and it definitely did not have to be rewritten. Trust me, if you think the show is good now, it would have been AMAZING if they actually stuck to the source material. The current characters and story is very poor, VERY poor, in comparison to the original source material, and I feel very sad seeing HALO, something that was a big part of my childhood, portrayed in such a way. The franchise and the fans ARE entitled to so much better.
Don’t think I’ll ever actually watch the show, but this compilation of scenes isn’t bad. And Pablo Schreiber really seemed like the master chief in that last scene, because he only said 9 word, very stoically.
Season 1 was cheeks (figuratively and literally). Season 2 was an improvement, with Episode 4 and the finale being actually decent episodes, though everything else was super lackluster. I will say, season 3 gives me hope though.
@@CT-9904-Crosshair I loved every episode of season 2, and every second is an improvement. They get a bigger budget and better writers every season, also we barely just caught up to Halo one KINDA timeline, it's gonna be banger after banger going forward.
The tv show might not be the best but it has some cool scenes. The fight between arbiter and chief was really cool, also arbiter cutting the elite head was funny.
Arbiter is a title not a person. There have been many arbiters in the lore and this is just one of them. The Arbiter we know and love would have come at a later date had the show continued.
the arbiter race probably the descendants from human on earth in marvell Universe where the lizard (spidey enemy) manage to make some human race evolved into lizard capability and shape, but it also evolve into blade enemy that break their jaws in their evolution

He sees them both as outcasts and have no honor I get that. But she’s also like a double agent for the UNSC? Wtf she legit just fucked over the Arbiter pretty much why she acting sad?
She's not really a double agent for the UNSC. She actually hates all humans except maybe for the Master Chief. She's used Cortana to further her own goals of finding the Halo because the artifact she needs to find it can only be used by both her and Chief.

Sorry, people can complain we see chief without his suit. For the show, I am starting to come around to it. I think it adds even another layer for how badass chief can be.
the entire existence of Makee is just so unnecessary. I feel like the writers thought we would need a human in the covenant to show covenant stories but its been done in the games so well already it doesn't make sense they would stray so far from those stories. I personally like the covenant scenes a lot more than the humans in this show this arbiter was actually quite a cool character.
To be fair. In the original Halo lore even though Master Chief kicked ass alot he also got his ass handed to him a couple of times. It just wasn't shown alot in the games.
@@Beau.OfficialYeah. I get that he’s not invincible. It justs bugs me that he is sometimes out of his armour or has his helemt off, especially when he’s cleary in an area that is not safe.
I am okay with everything else in this show but master chief without his helmet on or armor is honestly heresy and just a blatant spit in not only the people who played the games and grew up with the lore but also to the creators who took the time to really craft the entire lore behind master chief honestly I know my opinion might not matter but I am very disappointed considering I grew up and loved everything about halo
Bro bad take Chief’s face has been shown for years now at this point…..he has a whole story, name, and background now. Likewise in the books and even games now he is shown or described without his armor on. Plus Pablo Schrier literally looks like he does in the supporting material which builds his character lmao

This show sucks. I will argue with anyone. This is the hill i will die on. Halo has gone the way of star wars: too much crappy content(shows and halo 4 and 5) when they could have taken their time and done so much better.
I agree it’s bad overall, but don’t you think some of the fight and action scenes are pretty good? It gave us by far the best energy sword duel ever seen in halo, and seeing elites fighting humans is always badass, so don’t you agree there are some scenes that are good? however I agree with you overall the story is bad and halo is definitely dying
