This might be one of the most ironic reactions that I have ever (partially) watched. You did help me realize that there was another unspoken point that the MV brought out on purpose. Women are sexualized by media, and what they say isn’t really important. Halsey was really talking about some serious, real life issues and most men that I’ve seen react to this MV either half listen, or don’t listen. They certainly did not understand what she was talking about, and why would they care? She’s just to be looked at. Who really cares what she (women) say(s)?

Lmao. Why you so pressed. A song is a song at the end of the day. Not everyone has time to look into the meaning. If people need to look into the meaning of a song then they would’ve just read the lyrics to begin with and not listen to the song at all... songs are meant to jam to, not sit down and analyze its lyrics every time you hear the song. Ofcourse it’s fine to know what the lyrics mean, but it’s JUST A SONG at the end of the day. Y’all acting as if it’s a poetry class and have to answer questions about it. I guess that’s more important to y’all... smh

I'm sorry, but ya'll completely missed the point and were kind of like the guys she's ranting about in the song by the way you reacted. That video was about empowerment for women and not owing sexist assholes who tell us to smile when they don't even know us or why we're not smiling. It is partially about looking hot, but the point of showing all that skin is most likely to push against the showy clothes meaning a girl is asking for it thing.....

I don't think you lot and the point of this window are even in the same galaxy at this point. Both the lyrics and the video are pretty self explanatory and by paying attention you would realise that her looks are NOT the point of this video. A major shame tbh.
