I have had the V5 of HRD for some years, always used it in digital modes and never knew this feature existed. I LOVE it. It saved me lots of $ cause now I don't need a panadapter, etc. Thank you so much.
Thanks Ken, good demo---It is a much different world than when I started......Back to the air after a couple of decades, ahhhh, so much going on, so many possibilities. 73's, WA6YPV
Hi, Can you elaborate on this video? For example when you select the Band Scope Options there a few hints that say to: - Use a fast AGC - Disable Automatic ATU's - Smeter value is plotted. Can you explain what those are and maybe how to set them in like an 857D for example? Also when I run the scan I'm not seeing the peaks and valleys you do in your video - any suggestions? Cheers' Dave
Ken. I have HRD and trying to use the bandscope as in this video. The scan works but the peaking signal bars don't populate as the band is being scanned. Only when i stop it and wait a second does that specific frequency signal populate. Any ideas what's going on?
