I have owned my Lectric XP since they were first introducted, model 1.0 I guess it was called, pre telescoping front fork. Now, I have two great grand sons who would love to ride along with me. This bike seat looks to be well engineered and my best choice for the Lectric XP bike! Thanks, will be looking forward to other videos and accessories for this brand e-bike. Karl
Thanks for the video. I'd love to see it in action and get your thoughts on it. I'm considering installing one as well but debating on which child carrier to go with.
How tall is it on the Lectric to the top of the seat? We don't have a garage so it'll have to fit in our shed, which isn't super tall. Thankfully the Lectric has small tires so it might fit
How wide is your rack? I bought a chair that looked just like that (dont recall the name) but it didnt fit at all. My rack is 200mm wide, the adapter only went as far as 175mm
In your video, your carrier adapter is the type that has vertical pins (ie, the front attachment point between the adapter and the seat). There appears to be another version that has a red handled adjuster (as opposed to the gray handled one in your video). The red version has pins that are horizontal with the mount. I purchased directly from Hamax and received the same adapter (grey handled) as you. I can't figure out how the front pins fit into the seat with this adapter. So, when I try to connect the adapter to the base, it doesn't sit flush and only the rear locking pin attached the two. It's loose in front. Am I missing something in your video on how this attaches?
@@markusk.7749 It will work with either type. I am the original poster and to my embarrassment, it works fine with the vertical pins (grey handle) adapter. Just make sure you insert the front end in first and then pivot the rear to lock in place. Once you do it, you will be like "how did I not see that"
@@brycebuchanan8441 I had tried it three times, was swearing and was so sure that it couldn't fit. when I put it in the right angle and it fit...yes, I felt a bit stupid that I hadn't figured it out beforehand :D
