Awesome!!! You'll love it, seriously the best thing... been riding all winter in the snow with it too this year, they stay warm in the sealed cabin well!

Pro tip, I extend the bar when towing act as additional roll-over support. I've got the token 148/142 rear axle adaptor for it so that it has the flexibility of being towed by either my Trek Rail or Nukeproof Giga... Totally overkill using 180mm super enduro bikes to kart our 10 month old around, but take it from me, when you're absolutely bombing it on fire roads and rooty double track, you'll be glad the suspension is compliant. You don't feel that you're towing a trailer sometimes, given how effortless the 20" wheels roll!

Great little video. We’re between the Outback and the Burley D-Lite X. Any thoughts? Both are pretty comparable although I think the Hamax looks a little better, more stylish. Hamax has other models but only for the European market and the Outback is now maybe 5 years old.

The BIG difference is the size and weight. The Outback is much heavier, and larger, and is built with the best features possible, while sacrificing the portability. I do prefer the Outback though, cause it is much more comfortable for kids and more storage etc. BUT if you are going on LONG rides, and want to be lightweight, be able to fit into small places, like doorways or a small car, or if you have a tough time lifting heavy things, I would go with the Burley. I have thought about getting a Burley just for backup in case I need something lighter or smaller, which might be beneficial... but I love the Outback, just a super nice trailer.

Hi🙋🏻‍♂️ Have actually the same buggy. Have one question. How did you set the suspension? Did you adjust it according to your children's weight or turn it up completely until you can't see the kilo signs? Thx

I turned it all the way loose as far as I could for full suspension support - I believe you just turn until it can’t anymore and hasn’t caused us any issues at all

It actually stays pretty dry without it, just a few vents that are exposed, but honestly you can go without it and your kids will still be dry

I just ordered my Hamax Outback and own a Radrunner plus, did you have problems installing the adapter to the rear wheel? And if so, how did you install it?

Congrats! I didn’t have any issues with my bike, and I your radrunner plus will be perfect just like mine was. To install the adapter all you have to do is take off one of the bolts on the rear axle play see adapter on and screw the bolt back on….And you’re good to go! If you have any issues when it arrives, let me know and I’ll be happy to help ya out

How old and tall is your eldest son? Any review updates after using this for a few months?

My son just turned 6 right after this video and he is around 4 foot 3 inches tall. Honestly still has a bit of leg room still and should be good till he is 7 or so... Our little one is getting more comfortable, is was a little odd at first because of how small she was but she is loving it now! No regrets on purchasing this awesome trailer, we are hoping to get the ski attachement for the winter as well

Hello, How do you atach the trailer to a ebike with a hub motor?

This Hamax trailer is attached with an adapter you install onto the rear wheel axle nut.. If there isn't access to be able to unscrew that nut and put on the adapter, you might have to find something else to attach it to, or make something custom. Let me know what you figure out!

Great video thank you :) I read somewhere that it's quite a big trailer..can you wheel it through a regular door frame or how have you found getting it in and out of the house, shed etc without having to take it apart? Thanks

Hey yes definetly the best trailer we've had... been holding up great. It is for sure a 'wide' trailer, wider than burely or other brands. This makes the cabin way bigger and more foot room than other trailers but its big. Getting through regular door frames is tough, but the wheels come off with one hand... some trade offs but worth it in my mind. You can either go with burely for lighter, slimmer version or go with this one which is like the "cadillac of bike trailers", just a bit heavier and wider...

@@austinjacobjones I just notice you have it set up on an electric bike. Do you just set it up on rear axel as normal? I have an ebike too and the guy in the shop seemed concerned it might do some damage to the motor..not sure how true that is..

Yes the electric bike definitely helps… I just never make sure to put too much stress on the motor.. Like going uphill with a lot of weight without peddling. So far it’s been about a year of riding with us set up and haven’t had any issues with the electric bike or the motor. If you’re careful it should be fine… and its super fun pulling with it

We love the hamax! It’s like the Cadillac of bike trailers, yes heavier than others and larger but the most comfortable and versatile for the kids and definitely feels better than others like burley… good luck with your decision! 👍🔥

@@vla179 nice! Yeah the single will probably be a bit lighter and smaller 👍 we are using a rad power rad runner in the video but we use it on our mountain bikes as well, really works on anything
