So happy you are doing so well (Again, lol!). I hope you get to keep this channel for a very long time. Your video style is great and I love the narration. Very pleasant to listen to and very informative. I have never heard of the "claw" bun shaping technique! I learned something. :)

Great recipe Gretchen. I've been watching since you were in the bakery. I remember following the strawberry chiffon cupcake recipe step by step and your Swiss Meringue buttercream is my go to recipe. It's the only one I make. Love it.

Hi Gretchen, please do a vegan spinach and cheese variation on a scroll seeing you're bread baking at the moment. . It'd be nice to see something with a herbed tofu ricotta, onion and spinach Gretchen's way!

They are Gardein (but sadly I cannot find them anymore!) I think Gardein has eliminated some of their products that being one of them :( The spread was Just Mayo & Ketchup with some chopped pickels!

This recipe looks fantastic Gretchen! I love baking bread and am in a sourdough phase lately. :) I too put ground flaxseed in my dough, it has a wonderful nutty flavor. Happy Thanksgiving Gretchen!

mmm it was so good! I Love Gardein brand for most of my prepared foods, but I have made a scratchveggie burger in the past and it was amazing! But Im lazy now and typically use Gardein or Beyond Meat (the cheese here is Chao)

OMG so happy for this buns recipe!!!!! SO going to make those for Christmas!!! OK I have a question, it's probably of personal taste, but I was wondering why you like Earth Balance over other margarines. - oh nevermind. I googled a few lactose-free ones and wow, ok, that one has the best ingredients list lol *whispers* psst could you link to your favourite vegan patty in the description? If possible at all? (if it's home made) I have a good lentil recipe one, but I'm curious. ;) - your friendly omni :)

Hi Thanks! You will love! Add poppies or sesames to them or a pinch of salt yummy! Even add cheese to the recipe (vegan of course! LOL) I love Gardein they are really good (even kinda greasy yumm) Hey just cuz I said I was vegan didnt say I was healthy! haha I have made them homemade before and LOVE them but I am lazy now ;)

Good evening Gretchen! quick question... I am having to make GF rolls or a cake, I bought a bag of Pillsbury GF all purpose flour and it says on the bag that can be use just as normal as regular flour 1:1, have you ever used this flour or had any good result by using GF flour 1:1 on a regular recipe?

Shave you tried Seitan? It's a vegan meat substitute made from wheat gluten. I can't stand it but my omnivorous roommate enjoyed it. Maybe if it had been better seasoned I'd have liked it more. Plus, I wanted fillets so I left it in big chunks and the inside didn't cook right so it was rubbery so if I make it again I'll cut it into small pieces before boiling it. I bet you could do something with it with your culinary skills.

earth balance is a type of margarine so you can use butter, the aquafaba is just for the shiny tops and golden color, you can use egg wash

I made this bread, but when it cools off it was hard like a rock and I couldn’t eat. Does anyone can help me please?!!! I don’t know what I did wrong

Oh no! Hmm, perhaps the measure was slightly off? My first thought was too much flour, but you would have noticed that upon mixing, too much flour will give you a very tough dough to knead and work with, not elastic and pliable. But honestly it could have been a few things. Bread is a tricky art to master. Overbaked will cause drying almost instantly when cooled.

I looked through your videos, trying to see if you had a recipe for the veggie burger, but I didn't see a video for it. There were two links, one for 29 videos, and another for 100+ videos, and since I don't want to look through videos that might not all be yours, if you have a video for the veggie burgers, can you link to it? By the way, ignore the nasty remarks about being vegan. We're proof that animals don't need to be slaughtered for us to enjoy good meals. I've read nasty comments on other videos, with the commenters writing that we vegans are in a class of our own because when we go to a non-vegan's house, we demand they make special meals for us. Since bacon seems to be the in food these days, we vegans have to be subjected to just how good bacon is with everything. Ignore those people. If they wanted to do a little bit of very satisfying work, and make their own "meats", they would be amazed at how good the "meat"is, but people are afraid of what they don't know, and I think a lot of meat eaters are too afraid that they just might like vegan food that they don't want to try it.

This recipe happens to not require eggs or dairy, BUT since you are "tired of this shit" I have been vegan for a while now and I have been super conflicted with my channel not being in alignment with my life and my beliefs I am transitioning my channel/blog to align with my beliefs, I have been veg for 8+ years and have been in severe conflict here on my channel AND when I owned my bakery by promoting the exploited animal industry, so I finally "got off the fence" and decided to stop being a hypocrite and follow my heart and soul passion. I understand not everyone cares to be open to this kind of baking (although I have been making some of my BEST recipes more recently!) So I hope and wish that folks will be open minded and give me the same understanding for following my heart. This has not been the case 100% so far, as I have sadly been met with anger and hatred :( for following my heart and soul with comments like "I am tired of this shit" Again, I understand this may not be for you, and if that is true there is an unsubscribe button and you can be on your merry way! I thankyou for your support up until now and would prefer to see people with less anger towards people who are sharing their passions whether they line up with yours or not. However others have been showing tremendous support and encouragement. I hope you will at least give it a chance. :) I will not eliminate my old recipes and will still help you all with baking of any kind just like always! I hope you do stick around because just as easily as you can VEGANIZE a recipe, you can UNVEGANIZE IT!
