I should have seen your channel before I cooked today. Thanks for your very detailed instructions. I could not find the manual and had no idea what I was doing.
I love mine! Had it for 3 years so far but getting a new one soon. I've gotten used to the annoying sound. I know it's working with that sound. I was always confused, do you use the clips when cooking? I've never had a problem with it, but not sure if supposed to.
I don't like it so much. The signal it makes when you turn it on is very annoying. And, I find I don't use the probe that much. I rather have bought the "sister" one to this where I could set the heat for one hour on high, then it switches to 4 hours on low, and then switches to keep warm (adjusting cooking time/temperature as necessary for a recipe). That is what my old slow cooker did and I prefer that.
Would you tell me exactly what that 'sister' model is...I have this one & do not use the probe...also desire to cook on high for an hour and then switch to low and then warm....I don't want to make a mistake with my purchase so really hope you'll tell me size and model name/#..THANKS soo much. :)@@MissyRGFHomestead
The second I pulled mine out it fucking broke. Why they’d have it packed sideways in the box is beyond me and then also expect 2 tiny pieces of masking tape to ensure that multiple lb glass bowl would be suspended is beyond me
