I'd of liked to see this on the charts like you do with other balls. Not sure if Hammer is doing this anymore. But, definitely would like to see where you place this.
Excellent explanation and information thank you. I’m a speed dominate player who prefers track play. I’m looking for a Symmetrical ball to put at the top of my bag mostly for league use and some tournaments. Phase 2 is my current then Widow 2.0 however I would like to swap out the phase 2 with something that has HK 22 for the brands ! I’m a huge radical fan and have the majority of the current line. Can you suggest what could be a fit possibly? Big time , Hazmat, Ethos ?
unfortunately radical lacks a really strong sanded sym right now. the big time is early enough for your speed, but a little smooth downlane. i would suggest a piranha powercor or a hammer hazmat (but with the hazmat you will want to sand the finish to get it to slow down and hook).
currently i would recommend an Extreme Envy. it's a little stronger core and slightly cleaner cover, so it's a little less in the mids and a little more at the back of the lane, but still fills that strong Asym role.
When a hammer ball or any under Brunswick balls say hybrid w/HK22, it’s still a hybrid but not has much of HK22 as to a 1500 grit polish with HK22. Correct? So I have to change some of my balls to make a 6pk Bec I bowl at 3 house. 2 of the house are dry 10 boards outside stair step pattern BUT, it ends at 55ft, but the then is they only use 20 mils. So I need some flip blocks and looking only at HK22, to preform well on these 2 house. Any chance you can give me 6 balls 2 hybrid the other pearl HK22, asymmetry 2, and 2 symmetrical cores and 2 light/med. 2 at asymmetrical med/heavy, 2 syrm 1 low RG, high diff, 1 at 250 RG, 46 diff 2 symmetrical at any(light med) I have a purple hammer for spares. And I am a lefty. Love your Show
i think you are mixing a few seperate things. HK-22 is the base material. HK-22 balls will have that base regardless of solid, pearl, hybrid. Solid, pearl, hybrid refers to the amount of pearl loading added to the base. solid is none, hybrid is a little, and pearl is the most. the ball's finish, sanded or polished (compound), is also independent of the base and amount of pearl in the cover.
i have never heard of a house running a 20mL, 55ft pattern as a "house shot". are you sure the pattern is that long? (the lane is 60ft, most house shots are around 39-42 ft.)
