I like the look of this mix, my hamster is about 2 years and 9 months and he struggles to eat the harder bits in his Harry hamster mix that he has now and this doesn’t look like it has many big bits in it. 😁 great review thanks.
Yes, this definitely doesn't have any huge nuggets in it and it is all natural with no colourings or fillers. Have you tried some complete nuggets mushed in hot water and fed to him cool? This could be as an additional supplement to his usual mix, this way he isn't missing out on nutrition? Also baby food is great for senior hammies. Porridge with a bit of honey also good and will keep weight stable. Hope this helps?
Yes, porridge is fine as long as it isn't the processed ones like oat so simple. It needs to be any brand of rolled oats. Boil a bit of water put a teaspoon of rolled oats into a hamster bowl and add the hot water and honey, leave to cool and thicken up and when cool all the honey will be nicely melted into the oats, give another stir round and if too thick then just add a few drops of cool or cold water until you get it to the consistancy you prefer. Remember that the honey must be melted as you don't want it to be sticky. 👍
Food looks fantastic, you should totally do a review on the Bunny basic mixes so we can compare expert and basic! Gained yourself a subscriber, keep up the good work my friend :)
@@hammycats6919 Sounds awesome! I was actally starting to think of starting to my own animal channel. I would love to be one of those people that live in a zoo and can spend the whole day being with my animals 😄🐾❤
I think it's likely to be German. Since Zooplus is a German company. It would have taken a few days to deliver as it is shipped overseas. I'll have to try out the bunny food for my hamster I usually buy Jr farm.
