Highly recommended to go when you are in Ipoh. Get to learn about mining,the types of room,kitchen,gambling place,opium addition in the past. Make sure to book in advance to go to the Museum. It is free entry but it is out to individuals to give donations for sustain the Museum. We have a very clear and interesting explanation during the visit and personally I feel everyone should donate when visited.
