If people give no response at the hard parts of this piece, you're not a good player. - She, Chie Hanawa, is one of the very best Shamisen players out there right now.

Beautiful! I am surprised and very much pleased to know that Japanese local music played by also Japanese music instrument is well accepted by the people in Brunei.
Hanawa Chie is so talented and so young, makes me feel good about the future of Japanese traditional culture. I still prefer shamisen and shakuhachi better than shamisen and violin.
I think you don t know the traditionnal shamisen schools ' s masters then... Even if they are not famous abroad, they are 100 times better, and i say that even if i admire her shamisen level ;)

I concede there could be someone at same level as hers, or probably slightly higher than hers, but you must be drunk to say you know people that is 100x better than her.
