Honestly, Will Smith coming back with a Hancock 2 might "save" his career, or at least jump start it in Hollywood after everything he's been through in recent times. With a mix of a good solid plot and similar comedy as the first one...not a bad idea

originally there was going to be a sequel where another immortal would be revealed however scheduling conflicts have sidelined it for the time being.

Great movie the story is so much better than most super hero movies. It was real and hit home. Will is a legendary actor. Jason is hilarious his delivery is top tier. But my favorite part is Jane saying he can find superhero friends in New York. Lol. That was adorable. 😂😂😂

i see a lot of couple reactors but man…. you can clearly see how much you guys love each other and i just love how you guys bounce off each other. other reactors give their partners faces when they say something dumb or something like that. but you just appreciate each others comments and i appreciate that! my absolute favorite couples reactors! i hope all is well for you guys and your family!:)

Really one of the great underrated movies with an all-star cast. There are a few that nobody has reacted to and The Interpreter with Sean Penn and Nicole Kidman is another on my list. Sahara and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Matthew McConaughey are two others. This was a real treat.

This is a really good one. I love the love story honestly. it makes this movie. As for the drinking. I think it's explained when he is like, "nobody claimed me." I think the explanation is basically that he doesn't feel loved. So he's a broken person.

Love how the bad guys plan was to shoot the bulletproof guy BEFORE he knew he was losing his powers. Also love the fact that the prisoners who Hancock put away thought they could intimidate him. Not too bright 🤣

This movie is so fun. Also it has the most realistic depiction of flying in any movie I've ever seen. He's not in a superman pose, he's just floating forward, while drinking in this case but that's unrelated. I just realized I said a realistic depiction of flying like people can actually fly lol. I loved this movie when it came out. Don’t know what it says about me, but I wanted Hancock and Mary together SOOOO bad. I am a sucker for soulmate, I will always find you relationships. I would love a prequel of their love or a sequel of one last heroic mission and then finally getting to choose each other. They’re going to be in love forever and it’s tragic to me if love doesn’t prevail somehow. Chronicle is one of the best superhero movies ever! It’s how I became a Michael B. Jordan and Dane Dehaan fan.

Facts I was always thinking about a sequel and so on but as the years went on unfortunately it never happened. Chronicle was also another great one I hoped for a sequel and same thing it never happened Although there was a leak about chronicle 2 and I'm so glad it never happened.

Hancock is neither a DC nor a Marvel character. He's actually a character from a standalone superhero film called "Hancock," released in 2008, and he doesn't belong to any of the major comic book universes. The character is portrayed by actor Will Smith in the movie.

A fun little detail: Mary causing a storm? She has _milennia_ of experience, so she probably knows every little trick of her powers. Hancock can do some cool shit with his 80 years, but he's nowhere near Mary in skill.

"Everywhere he goes there's crime" Makes you tealize the stupidity of those crooks. They KNOW Hancock is in the city, they KNOW he'll stop them, yet they do it anyways. Even back when he was brutal about catching them.

Still one of my fav hero movies. It got alot of crap because at the time, people they didn't like him being a dark asshole of a hero. Obviously if those same people watch movies today, they would see dark/anti-heros are big now. Then you had those who didn't like it because they brought their little kids to it and/or they didn't like the story becoming about his past. Which is silly, he's fascinating. We want to know about his past. If I recall they still may do another one, but since the Will slap incident, its gone quiet now on if they will do another.

I love the mythology, that it was an original IP and the tragic love story at the heart of the story. Plus, Jason Bateman is a deadpan genuis at line delivery. Great pick tonight. The original title of this movie when it was a spec screenplay making its rounds round Hollywood was 'Tonight, He Comes.' But they thought it sounded too pornographic. So they changed it to HanCOCK. ;)

His suit isn’t bullet proof, the only reason it doesn’t get damaged is because of him being bulletproof, because with people it goes through us, creating a hole, but with him since he is invulnerable, there isn’t nothing for the bullet to penetrate, so no hole in the suit.
