Very nice tutorial mam❤️ I want to ask you something regarding this stitch..am doing this stitch on a peach georgette saree with white thread of " anchor" without using the frame..but the shadow effect is not coming out properly..can u please suggest me which thread will be good for this stitch n how many strands should I use..n also let me know, should I do it using frame??
My dear, anchor is good thread and u can use 2 or 3 strands of this thread, I think its hard to do this stitch without frame, its better if u use frame for the neatness of stitch, and another reason, lighter shade of thread is also effect on this ,I am sending u the link of my other video on this stitch, reason of sharing this link is ,I make 2 kinds of stitches in this video, in your case if u add satin and french knots on the face, these stitches increase the beauty of your stuff and helps to enhance the shadow work.I hope this will be helpfull for u,if you have any question please feel free to ask me, Good Luck, take care and stay blessed. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--P_XvNrJnzg.html
I am sorry for very late reply actually I was away for some weeks for some personal reason. You are asking about a thread I think cotton embroidery thread is good for embroidery and Anchor and dmc thread is good.If you never find these brands then you can use any brand of thread which is easily available to you. Thanks
Hi Daisy I used simple cotton embroidery floss with 2 strands and you can use the same floss otherwise you can use cotton floche, silk, flower thread and even wool. You can also use georgette, or organza or any sheer fabric for embroidery. I suggest you use a needle with a eye big enough to accommodate the threat of your choice, this depends on the fabric or the thread you use. I use a needle with the size number 8. Sorry for the late reply!
