This is very useful exercises ! I was looking for the good coordination drills that I can do alone and this is exactly what I need! Thank you again! You make very good job in this channel.
Coach Tyler thanks for all your videos. The closest places I can go are down in Chicago which would be a painful 40 minute drive from me. Now I can get a ton of the basics out of the way and get comfortable with the sport before deciding to join one and figure out if I like it
I wear contact lenses. I highly recommend getting contacts if you can. If not, try to get some sport spectacles that hug the side of you head. Wearing a head band will help keep sweat off the lenses. They make anti-fog spray to keep your lenses from fogging up. Try bending up the tab on the back of the mask so you can put your face directly into the mask instead of pulling it down over your face.
Absolutely awesome drill. I find it is helping after just a few tries. I am adding this to my daily routine. Subscription would be a bargain at twice the price. Thanks, coach Tyler :-)
I love the ideas in this video, but what do I do if I don't have a partner to practice with and to throw the ball with me? These videos are really great though, thank you so much for posting them! They really help with how I can stay fit and train without my clubs being open during this pandemic.
Really nice training exercises and something that's different (which is always good). Love the fact that if you muck up you do press ups burpies etc. Good incentive to get it right (or get it wrong if you are that way inclined!)
I will probably get flack for asking this but why are there "penalties " for making a mistake? Unless you are intentionally messing up I don't see how it would correct the mistake. If you are doing something incorrectly punishing the person will not correct the action.
Hi Until Then, Great question! The push-ups, sit-ups, squats or burpees are not intended to be punishment for making a mistake. They are intended to help make you a stronger athlete. They add pressure and stress to the drills to help simulate the pressure and stress of not making a mistake during competition. Depending on your mindset, it can be a way to make doing push-ups, sit-ups, squats and burpees fun. That said I totally agree with you that punishment is not a good way to teach or learn.
