Swimbaits! Pearl or translucent belly, with the top half extra large black flake...kinda like the splatter back effect on crankbaits. Make it look like cookies and cream!

*Altogether a well made lure **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the skirt seems to stay on well and the whole thing is bigger than I thought it would be. The 2 metal have a nice plating on them as well.*

I love the color on the Swim Bait! I use Tennessee Shad and Green Gizzard Shad alot and it looks like those for sure. I wanna get into bait making myself. Looks like fun! Thanks for sharing.

Dude. Mesmerizing. This hand pour technique would be really useful on Lake Ida down here in SoFla. They're so keyed into the shad in the Ida system these would do great for lmb's and a bunch of the crazy exotics we have.

Congrats on year 3. Staying married and raising a family is a tough thing to do nowadays. Making killer baits seems to be just the right thing for you. Makes me want to move back to Florida and go fishin 3 or 4 times a week. Oh, did I mention that your baits were killer? Again excellent video (even with a slight hangover) haha.

Using an adjustable temperature soldering iron to apply details to the open pour bait works well. Simply dip it into the plastic and use it kind of like you would a squishy crayon.

those swimbaits look great! you ever tried making/fishing the junebug with red flake color? Zoom makes it. it's a different take on junebug and looks really good. to me anyways.

Question...as a newbie, is it not smart to just add hardener to standard plastisol to make a frog bait or is it better to buy the harder plastisol to begin with?

I hate to say this but, you haven't reached the milestone for using young guys warnings. The shad baits are very pretty and I enjoyed the tutorial. You did say several times that this or that did not look right but what do the fish say about a blemish or an off pattern line? Scoop up a net full of shad and very few have perfect coloration. Thanks for the education on pouring!!
