100% LOVE that Sparkie Jig head mold for making Chatterbaits. Because of your video you posted, i got the stuff and made a handful and holy moly am i having a blast with em. The amount of wobble is intense and when it gets within 5 feet reeling in, i can actually feel the chatter on the jig head. But I'm gonna seriously look at that spinner jig head mold, 2nd to last, that peaked my interest since i LOVE Beatle Spinners, and also willow leaf larger spinners so gonna use your link for sure !!! thanks again for the videos on how to do baits !!

I’m a finessing fisherman so my list is different. 1- Drop shot weight I use 3/16 so I have the production mold 2- 90 degree football jig but the one with the holder is a close second 3- Dart head Staple in my fishing. 4- ball head jig. Should be in everyone’s shop 5- underspin mold You can catch any species of fish on a under spin. Trout , crappie, Bass, Striped bass, saltwater. Just good all around. Two that I need Egg head mold. So versatile and the Free style jig

I almost put a sinker mold on the list. I have the production drop shot molds from 1/8 to 3/8. Hard to pass on making your own sinkers. Saves a ton of money.

Take hammer and flat plat and flatten out a ballhead into pillhead jig

I'm really into swimming soft plastics. I like the screwlock jig molds, the 30° swimbait shad head, and weighted off set EWG molds. Of course the swing heads are fun too. I also like the smaller Blade Bait molds, the Sonar look-alike. The ball heads and freestyle heads with recessed eyes are easy, and look great with little effort. But I'm having lots of fun lately with trying different jig hooks in the weighted EWG hook molds. I also started using the Pinch-On Line Weight Mold a couple of months ago, to make Hover Rig Hooks with practically any kind of hook. The line slots are easy to widen with any standard screwdriver, wedge, or anything with a chisel point, to fit hooks with thicker wire. Easy to put on and take off. I do need to get that Buzz bait mold, now that you've "certified" it. I have the spinner bait mold you mentioned. I also like making cylinder weights for Mojo Rigs. I also like the Neko Weight mold. If I need nail weights, I just cut the heads off. The style 9 shad head mold is my favorite to use on A-Rigs that I also make myself. I have the umbrella rig mold but rarely use it since I started shrink tubing them together. I've been having lots of fun with the Weedless NED and Magnum weedless NED HEAD molds too. They can be used for practically any jig head technique. But I'm having the most fun at the moment with the pinch in line weight mold because there's so many different sizes in one mold.

The hover rig you’re talking about. I’d love to see a picture of that. I’m not sure how that ends up working! Thanks for watching the video and leaving such a well thought out and insightful comment! Really appreciate it. The ned molds are great. It’s hard to choose the best or top 5 when there are so many good molds. I ended up having to go with the ones i think I’ve caught the most fish on and these were them!

@@MattLunaFishing not sure if you got my last reply. But, yeah, everyone is focused on what they're working on and what works for them. Can't make everyone happy. I watch your channel to see what's working for you. And you'll know what works best for your approach. Too bad you don't have a Barlows Tackle Affiliation (they probably don't have a program anyway). I have spent literally thousands of dollars with them in the last year.

I went and saw them. Thanks for tagging me so i could see what you were talking about! That’s a pretty cool deal right there. I don’t have an affiliation with barlows. Mine is direct with Do-It. I know people that may order from another place like barlows and the email DoIt letting them know the ordered based on my content.

It’s fun too. I prefer the lead. The soft plastics take more patience.

Might be a dumb question but is the lead molds safe? When I hear lead I think not safe lol
@MattLunaFishing
@MattLunaFishing Год назад
I don’t know all the ins and outs of how safe it is or not to be honest. Some people use a respirator but i don’t. I typically have a fan blowing and my garage open for ventilation

@@MattLunaFishing ya me too. I was thinking about the touching part. For example if you touch it without gloves will it give you lead poisoning and all that. I haven’t had a problem with it because I thought the do it molds were steel until I saw this video 😂
@MattLunaFishing

The molds are made out of cast aluminum, but you’re pouring lead. Lots of lures and sinkers are made of lead and people have been handling them Forever.
