Gold ring with diamonds, the back of the diamonds is finished with a structure reminiscent the hexagonal of the nests of bee. At the center of the video there is a detail of how to build.
Very nice work old-school techniques I love the way you double cut the Honeycombs on the Azores underneath and I went back and did your Pavilion on the top all using nothing but a hand Graver and others gravermax and all that kind of thing very nice. And what's giving that I'm old school myself I've been in the business about almost 50 years and I do it old school way.
That looks extremely hard and I am so glad I got to watch this. I would have no idea how to make a honeycomb look like that. Its really magnificent and I always love when you make new videos :) Thank you, incredible work.
6:90 , eventually a mechanical band saw would do that faster. looks like I have a sense of learning almost anything. But I'm a organise by trade. Many cast techniques happens . superb designs just are hard to avoid.
@@scaffoal , I say Thank you . I am learning from you and that s wonderful ! I am a Goldworker in Germany . Greetings from NRW . ( it is Nordrhein Westfalen )
Is that suppose to be a leaf ring?? How many carats of diamonds went into this ring? So fascinating I once wanted to be a jeweler, I still wonder how to do that and how one would buy their supplies. Lovely work Holly
Holly Carol It was used about 1.8 carat diamond. You can buy the equipment from several vendors. online will find many to kassoy for the USA. many in Europe are in Italy, Mario di Maio, Dal Trozzo, Legorgroup etc.
OK I wasn't going to say anything, but this is PURE TALENT right here. From the music to the selection of the music, not to be coatailing but I believe in giving credit where it's due and Im a DJ. But the craftsmanship is on point. Do you own a Jewelry store? How long have you been doing this? And one dumb question if I may, what happen to the gold dustings? Is it trapped in to something as it falls for scrap?
Thanks. I have a jewelry store since 1985 design and produce unique items by hand, thanks to the school that I attended and I know all the practice in laboratory techniques. The gold dust and the pieces are recovered in a drawer under the work surface and re-used after the merger and purification.
Oh OK, I always wandered and kind of figured it wasn't wasted. Do you do your own music mix also? I noticed even a Christian song in there. Keep making vids, they are relaxing with your own style.
You'll have to excuse my voice recognition it doesn't always get my words right that would be cut in your Honeycombs at an angle on these others underneath and then going back and doing all your peveto by hand with a hand Graver excetera excetera excetera
scaffoal Thanks for that. I guess that's part of the reason you cut ridges into the setting just before setting the stones? To produce small lumps of metal to set the stones with?
