For this scene , I think like 99-06. Was the best. For me it was bands like saves the day , Northstar , the get up kids , …. Pretty much any band on drive thru records …. dTR was killing it back in the day with bands like finch , senses fail , the early November …. Those bands/ the sound kinda died out in 2006 … atleast for me.

Was listening to this way before SOA. Glad that the show have created more Straylight fans. to bad it was a little too late for the band to become even more successful.
A fantastic video. Love hearing this song again and gives me a taste of what the never released Straylight Run Live album was possibly like. Always great to see John and Michelle together on stage again.

I remember seeing you guys in a small record store in South Florida. I believe it was called Uncle Sams. It was a small venue with about 25-30 people watching. I was lucky enough to be one of them. Some years later you played at Warped Tour in Miami where you absolutely killed. You kept playing even though the wind was roaring and the storm was coming. After the show everyone gathered in a small musty tent where you signed cds and posters. Thank you for signing mine. I still have them :)
My favorite part is when John looked back and told the drummer that was fuckin awesome.. i felt that& that tbs drummer plays with so much emotion it’s rad.
Yeah.. this song is amazing. I never looked up what it's about but to me.. its about the government. Either way one of my favorite bands and songs. Also love it never gets easier.
Yeah the new material on Prepare to be Wrong was pretty much all about the Bush Administration. It Never Gets Easier and Slow Descent were recycled from their first demo recordings.
Tbh the original ending was better than this one. John completely overpowered Michelle but she doesn't get enough credit in this song. Her singing at the end completely ties the message together He honestly just ruined the ending by trying to be too aggressive. (just my opinion and everyone has the right to form their own)
