Other than the movement it seems like a more refined watch than the 41mm. It’s thinner. The dial pops more without the chapter ring. The seconds hand is also hacking!
It's also about the aesthetic and thickness that make it wear larger. The options for mid size pieces are low for a lot of brands but they're slowly getting there.
Great video! Did you get a chance to try on the rose gold version? Money aside would you have chosen the full rose gold over the steel? I’m planning on buying one and would love your input. Thanks!
Most beautyfull watch I've ever seen but I will never be able to buy this watch this watch is really for the rich people. So I keep it with Tudor and maybe one day a upgrade to omega or rolex
They are VERY expensive! And there is absolutely nothing wrong with Tudor! They're fantastic watches 😍it's great getting to see and play with things like this but I really do believe this hobby is for everyone and every budget.
When you buy a watch, surely it should be how it fits and feels and if you love it, rather than worrying entirely about the resale value? Otherwise you're purposely buying a watch to resell it and not wear it which takes all of the enjoyment out of this wonderful hobby!
Time will tell. Watch size tastes are shrinking though and other than the movement this is a much more polished watch. I think resale will never be as high but will still be above retail for this dial.
Beautiful piece. You are spot on. The blue dial is amazing bouncing off the light. The “lesser” movement doesn’t bother me as long as the price reflects that. Nice hands on review! 🥂
The full size Overseas, until recently at least, has always had the advantage of being more available than either the Royal Oak or the Nautilus. It's a beauty in it's own right too
Nice video Lucy,I would prefer a larger version say 39mm but its stunning all the same, the quick release system is fantastic, other brands should take notice.
Thank you Joe! The 37mm they do is a good size as it wears bigger, but it's covered in diamonds and isn't my favourite! I do love their new strap change system. Quick and simple and a different way to doing it!
Have you or has anyone ever tried on the 41mm Overseas before with a small wrist like 6 inches? Curious since my wrist are actually smaller than yours, 6 inch wrist, and I haven’t seen a full size 41mm on a small wrist like mine, not sure how it would look 🤔 Great video, tho!
IMO the 41mm wears *massive*, at least on the bracelet. Have tried it at an AD before they became hard to find. 7 inch wrist. This one is more appealing to me.
If they made a 36/37mm like this, without diamonds, I think it would be completely perfect. However this is very close to perfection wearability wise 😍
For that price the movement should be better proportioned and have the Geneva Seal. Also, using a better proportioned movement would allow them to have a thinner bezel:
Is it less of a watch compared to their 41mm predecessor because of the lack of the Geneva Seal? Was there a particular reason this doesn’t have the seal, and is it a deal breaker?
