Aw, this was one of the hardest classes I've done in years! Feels so good! Thank you for creating this space for growth and giving so many useful tips😊
So I was just diagnosed with cns disease and I'm not new to yoga, I was a yt a few years ago for people with chronic illness and preteens until my health issues progressed further. I've always done things for my brain health since I was a chronically ill kid.. my mental health too (got a degree in psychology) and I've always taken care of my physical health too (learning about nutrition, yoga, health in it's vast complexities) . It's gotten quite boring sometimes to be honest.. but this.. this is exactly what I need.. this is innovative and genius!
Holy crap this was hard (specifically the first 10-20 min, had me sweating!) but SO helpful. I have a decent handstand but i found myself floating more effortlessly in this class that I have in a long time! Thank you!
This was my 1st class with you Adell, and my 1st yoga class in over 10 years!! I was definitely sweating like crazy!! You quickly helped get the rust of my handstand!! Awesome class, thank you Adell!!
This class was brilliant! Thank you so much Adell. I was so scared of cartwheels and handstands but always wanted to learn to do them. So as you may be able to imagine I am so excited and happy and totally at ease with falling now... The nervousness around it got released in laughing bursts as I was jumping forward with thighs tucked in chest position... It was so fun. Oh and all these amazing things that you show us with the wrists..mhmmm my brain is ON! Thank you thank you thank youuuuu much love!
Thank you Adell. I love the neural flossing. I have been sharing some of that with my classes and have gotten several comments on how they really liked the neural flossing of the hands and wrists. ❤️🙏 You find the most beautiful settings for your videos .
Great mini workshop!! Loved every moment of it as it challenged me and i've felt much more focused, rooted and ready to hold longer (a few seconds added to the previously held few seconds ) in my handstands:)) Thank you loads
Loved this class so much! So helpful and playful. Thank you so much for your knowledge! I found the beginning really challenging because I can't do pronation and supination in my right arm but found it really helpful to work my brain trying to move the muscles anyway. Thank you!!
I am soooo glad you liked it! I think this class is the #1 class that I've had people come tell me how helpful it was, so it makes me really happy that it was also helpful to you!! xoxox
This was awesome- I love how challenging yet integrative and accessible you make your lessons! This could be a very profound therapy, have you heard of EDMR? My eyes feel great! and my brain! Thank you!!!
hehe yes I am aware of EDMR. It does work differently since we're not focusing on the past or memory but on the present and what we're physically fixated on hopefully hehe but it could have an interesting overlap!
this looks super interesting, I hope we didnt end up getting you to give it all to us for free lol. I do feel bad some guy yelled at you, I think you did the brave thing by standing up for the other lady
it's so hard to learn the balance! working with a handstand coach is the best way to get this skill, but the drills in this video will go a long way to preparing your body for it! i say attack from all sides! approach from all angles :-)
