Thank you for explaining that, I have wondered watching you how it worked. You have made these videos fascinating to watch and I like your sense of humour and maybe even your singing! 😊
Darren Im intrigued with the Kobo addition ..Where did you get the softwear to load to the Kobo and is it necessary to add the vario you mentioned is connected to the Kobo ..Also, I would be interested to see your radio set up.. which one do you use? How is it set up in your harness and connected to your helmet etc.. Great videos by the way
Hi Rich, the KOBO software is LK8000 - www.lk8000.it/ There are lots of guides on how to install and use it on the internet. Yes it is necessary to either add the Bluefly vario or a GPS chip - otherwise the KOBO has no way of knowing where you are - the vario / GPS feeds your positional information to the software in the KOBO. My radio is a BAUFENG (£30) with a headset attached that I bought from Simon Murphy- I'll do a video to show the setup!
Yes Neville, I think he probably does make that combo as that is what he flies with himself. Although he's not making / selling them because of the time involved. He did this for me as a special favour. If you contact him he might share the files with you.
@@MooSurfer Good news just brought a Digifly Air BT pitot after my 6030 went dead before launch. Hence needed a second instrument as a future backup. Wonder if I could get a copy of your AirTools & AirPages files ? It would be a great starting point for me to modify. cheers
Hi Darren thx for the video ! Are you still happy with the Digifly ? Heard they have some building quality issues (espec USB port)! They are making one build especially for HG now !
