Hanggliding is not a crime 

As a former hang gliding pilot and TV cameraman, I'd like to say this is by far the best hang gliding video I have seen. Very nice!

Beautiful Gliders Thanks for sharing . The Dolomites are wonderful. I would love to fly there. I have flown Telluride , which is quite spectacular too. Looking out over all the peaks is magical.

Beautiful setting and production. Not to mention some of the best shots of Hang Gliding I have ever seen. And what a difference a helicopter makes. Makes me miss the mountains even more.

Gorgeous mountains and landscape, what a place to grow up or live and fly. I flew in Southern California from late 80s to late 90s. I had a 120 miles/190 Km XC flight in Owens Valley, 7 hours in the air reaching 17,300 feet/5,240m altitude. It was a long and joyeous drive back to Ridgecrest with fellow friends and pilots.

Wow! I am a novice. I fly out of Wisconsin towed by an ultralight plane. I've never even flown a glider without a kingpost. I can't even imagine the mountain scenery much less the stunt flying by the Red Bull guy skimming mountains and doing loops. Amazing video!

What a contrast: beautiful man flying around fantastic mountain like an eagle, and linking it with ugly, loud noise!

Beautiful soundtrack, unfortunate to have an English title but the full documentary in German, ignoring that the soundtrack, flying cinematography, scenery, and subject put this up there as one of my favorite YT uploads ever. I am in the refinement and proof of concept stages of a collapsible, single, place rigid wing glider made extremely lightweight from affordable materials unlike anything currently flying but drawing on the science of types like the Swift, Icarus, and my first glider turned ultralight the Egle XCR. Having gained some experience speed flying skydive kit down hills and mountains whilst all the while dreaming of my rigid wing I realized I need a super lightweight kite collapsible enough to be hiked up the mountains and slopes with great glide performance able to thermal but optimized for proximity and low-level ridge soaring. What I came up with solves several problems of current designs and meets most of the criteria I set out to achieve, as a career artist with an aeronautical engineering qualification and background the emphasis was to achieve all of that in something that looks good. I am lucky that modern aerodynamic concepts like blending, variable camber and aeroelasticity all lend themselves to sexy good looking craft it was then a case of employing the technologies and science that applies in a seamless, sexy high-performance craft that will not cost the earth to manufacture and maintain and can be prototyped without expensive specialized resources. I am so excited - see you ion the sky!

Thanks for your lovely video. I don't fly Flex-wings anymore, but I once did. I flew in the skies of western Canada from 1975 to 2003. There were some beautiful scenes below me. I once rose above MT Robson. Audios about flying stories to share "A pilot's tale," "Last flight of the OVR," "Flight over MT Robson," bud oracle, but my real name is Klaus and I could get by without the subtitles.

Running off a steep mountain side with a hang glider in no wind conditions is the ultimate leap of faith. The sensation is of forcefully holding a coupe of bicycles in the air above your head and scampering head long down an impossible incline. Only when the wing begins to fly can you begin to gather some confidence you are not about to plummet to your destruction. With high performance hang gliders this requires so much more potentially suicidal galloping - and so much more speed before the wing even begins to lift its own weight off your straining muscles.

Hell no, hang gliding isn't a crime, its a passion! I've been flying since '77, when I was still in high school and have over 2K hours clocked and just over 200 hours in paragliders. Flight is life!!!

sehr tolles Video, man fühlt sich da als Südtiroler gleich mehrfach angesprochen & geschmeichelt -- habe euch als reiner Modellsegelflieger am Hang immer bewundert - egal wo - manchesmal gab´s beim Kreisen sogar Zurufe wie: "dorten gehtz - da hinten eher weniger...!" ecc... Für mich sind & bleiben die Drachenflieger die Könige der Lüfte - ohne wenn & aber....
