Thanks for the video. I discovered this site during the 1994 pre-world championship in hang gliding. I loved screaming up and down the ridge in the evening glass-off. Going over the back, flying over 1000-year old abandoned hilltop villages, and then venturing to the northeast of Tremp required a little more bottle, as I flew over deep, narrow canyons, and a lot of unlandable terrain. Tasks that took us out to the south over Flatter terrain required a lot of patience due you to slow climbs and lower maximum altitudes. But I would go back there anytime!
Loved seeing you fly the area, brought back many memories. I seem to recall needing 5500 to clear that gap at the end of the main ridge but could be wrong. It was nearly 30 years ago. Keep up the videos. They're awesome
7000 feet ..... I was 7 foot up a ladder yesterday, and I didn't like it!!!! Really looking forward to some competition videos with more scenery and more singing. Awesome ..... Thank you for keeping us posted.
I wish I knew you when I flew 30 years ago. I might still be doing it today. Your joy and enthusiasm , along with your great commentary make these videos so great to watch. This was just a fantastic flight!
Great views Darren. Thank you for sharing. Love these videos. I haven't been able to go gliding because of the hurricane here in FL. Maybe I'll get lucky this weekend.
Awesome , glad to see you back in the Vlogs D . Wolfie no longer Vlogs on RU-vid , dont know why , Even Ollie has been quiet , so boy am I glad to see this vid in my notifications :) . cheers Boet
Beautiful ! Love the rub'n of your helmet on cloud base. In America, you'd be shot down &/or the FAA would clip your wings. Gave me a great idea to approach Wills Wing with so to customize my soon-to-be T3.
They tried to shoot me down... but that's why my hangglider is black - it's a stealth glider! Also I have special anti-radar plating on it... What will you do to customise your T3?
How do you ship your wing to different parts of the world? Im looking into buying a wing and it seems impossible to have them shipped to Chile. Please let me know how you do it!!!
Usually my travel is into Europe, so I drive and take the glider on my car. But an option for taking it on a plane is to take the sail off, stick it in a suitcase and box up the frame separately.
