that hanging beam doesn't look structural enough to hang those joists that distance? Interesting there aren't any collar ties, underpurlins, strutts or strutting beams?
Gday Wok, the hanging beam has been engineered for this use and is also backed up with the spanning table for this type of LVL. the collar ties are not needed as the height of the rafters don't exceed their span. if you watch our other videos there is ALOT on info on the underperlin spans and loads along with your other queries. #stayawesome
