Hank Marvin a great guitarist creating the sound of the Shadows making them one of the greatest instrumental groups ever. He influenced many guitarists including George Harrison and John Lennon of the Beatles in their early days in Germany. John Lennon and George Harrison co wrote and recorded a instrumental song in Germany called 'Cry for a shadow' with the Beatles under the Polydor label which was the B side of 'Ain't she sweet'. This record was a hit in Germany at the time and later released in the UK in the early days before the Beatles became famous here and again released on the Polydor label.

Marvin como melhor baixista para músicas dos The Shadows. Crédito e aplausos à Mark. Ouçam a linda linha de baixo que ele executa ( no melhor estilo de Jet Harris).
