Very young Hank Williams Jr's rare album entitled My Own Way in order to let people know that he's gonna be doin' his own thing and will never be his father (Hank Williams Sr).
I love the old country songs but lately its been really tough listening to them because my only friend that liked the old stuff passed away, not even 23 i miss him more than anything else ive ever lost
@Bucky1836 I've seen interviews where he said he loves singing his dad's songs the most and also to answer the other guy on hank Jr sounding the same and than his sound changing, Part of it is hank Sr only made it to 29 , he sounded young his whole life. Hank Jr is still singing to this day probably as we're speaking!
When I was a teen, I burned up these Hank Jr. albums. I was born in 1960. So I feel like I grew up when Country Music was at it's High Point. I'm 57 now. And don't recognize the music that they try to pass off as Country. For that ,matter I don't recognize this World we're .now living kn.
Rick Willis , man isn't that the truth, I'm only 28 and can agree with what you said about todays music and the world I kinda feel like I at times don't belong in it when alot of the people in my generation are listening to this hip hop crap and dressing like they crawled out of a nightmare. I look at them and think of how times have changed for the worse from music having its heart and soul in it to today its become more auto tune, or even worse doesn't have any meaning to the words thats being screamed or rapped through the mic. its funny cause I go to work and play this kind of music all day on my playlist here on RU-vid and sometimes the stares people give almost like, son what you doing listening to this kind of music actually had one woman ask me why I listen to this kind of hillbilly stuff and I was honest and mentioned how back when I was a younger boy my dad and me would go to this old pool hall and I'd be around the older men there that would hustle there at the pool tables while others drank at the bar and me and my old man would load that jukebox with about 5 dollars worth of these old songs and he taught me how to shoot pool while we listened to the songs play it was good times back then growing up around the elders, stories they would share about life growing up in the country, having to use oil lamps cause there was no electricity and had to fetch there water from a well and just all kinds of things that nowadays a lot of us at times take for granted just listening to these good old songs sure does bring back the memories from my childhood, absolutely love this kind of country music
@@tokethedude1103 can u still do that I still listen to cds cuz I can't find any of his albums from the 60s or early 70s on CD and cassette there all on vinyl and where can I burn these albums

Problem was back then he still in his dad's shadow and noone wanted him to sing his songs, but a face crushing accident growing his hair and beard cause had to, and performing for a different crowd got the ball rolling thank god
