Mystery City was a club in London in the 80's. A great band McCoy great song writer, Monroe great front man - fantastic combo! I had all this gig on VHS tape back in day.
@@LuckyDrD no, I’m not criticising it, quite the opposite. I’m complimenting it - it would be difficult for a gay man to be homophobic…would it not? You have completely misunderstood that I am saying what a fabulous look it is.
@@bobballard3146He is a sweet-faced, smashing beauty, and more than that, he just looks very gentle and kind in the eyes, too. He looks safe and not like a source of unpleasant chaos, at any rate.
I love the low rumbling style of playing the drums that he had. It creates a different base line than what some other drummers prefer. I love Razzle´s relaxed yet efficient style of playing.
This surely does KICK ASS big time!!!! I saw them in October 1984 so they were really like this - I've never got over it!!!! Loving your work......Mo x
Rock was just rising at this time. Hanoi was massive in the 70’s and 80’s. Andy McCoy taught Nikki Sixx how to and where to get drugs in LA when Nikki was just a young boy starting up a band called Mötley Crüe. Hanoi is as old school as old school gets. 😂
Lamppu Can you ask Andy to elaborate on his claim that Razzle did time in prison for Drink Driving and killing someone? This is what Andy wrote in his book.
michael monroe looks so fucking cool! he always does. One of the best bands on earth! they would have been very big if razzle hadn't died.. R.I.P. Razzle!
@@katjalahdenranta2417 Nothing special really. I just paired up the analogue filming with the digital album (and added EQ), 'All those wasted years'. Hard part was where they went slightly out of synch! I'm sure you agree, it sounds amazing!!!
@@kornaxon3522 Why this one right here of course. Billy Idol did a remake but Mony Mony came out in the late sixties I think . But hey, believe me, I don't hold this against any powerful outfit. They had enough of their own originality to last for days, and were a tremendous influence on many who came after
Love the song and the band but the fact that you have "Crue" in your name just destroyed the whole thing. You tarnished Razzle's memory by associating him with a band of which the singer is a murderer.
@@jjRoxy Intentions don't matter. A man is dead and others were seriously injured (brain damage) due to a very horrific decision by Vince. Do you always blame the victim of a crime? Is the victim guilty if she is raped? Is the victim of a homicide guilty if they are killed? Stop victim blaming.
Is it just me, or is this almost the same song as *Mony Mony from Billy Idol??* Sounds like a rip off a little truthfully, but I doubt *Idol* was stealing songs!!
Because it is. They only got lumped in with that whole L.A. hair thing because of, well... their hair, which was really more of just a tribute to bands like the New York Dolls. The music and the attitude couldn't be any more different than shit like Motley Crue and Poison, but in the 80's everything was marketed on looks in the music biz, and they put Hanoi Rocks into that category.
