This programme never had much to recommend it, but now it just isn't worth watching. The entire panel are condescending, out of touch and boring to listen to. I wouldn't be surprised if the viewing figures for this programme plummet and it closes down.

It wont be you or me on front line it will be police doctors hospitals
@Old Skool Bodybuilding Routines You honestly think that uk membership of the EU has been a problem in our politics for ONLY the last 3 years? You honestly think leavers came from nowhere? This issues has been brewing under the surface since god old John Major signed the Maastricht treaty, which he didn't ask the people about btw, despite saying we'd have a say, then Tony Blair and Gordon Brown did the same thing with Lisbon AKA the EU constitution. Brexit isn't going to go away, brexit has been simmering away under the surface for the past 4 decades. Do your political homework.
When I first arrived here no one told me I had to have a tv licence. I invited the inspectors in to see my rented tv not knowing who they were or what they wanted. When the court fined me, I vowed never to have a tv licence ever again in my lifetime. Amen.
All Remain has ever had was facts, evidence, reason, maturity, wisdom and intelligence. All Leave had was Dom Cumm and fake news and lies and they won the con trick that Cambridge Analytica provided. Roll on Nazi ideology !
rufanuf1 hi, rufanuf. Populism itself is generally used as a tool by some politicians to turn the public against the ‘elite’. They use emotive rhetoric to stir up fear and anger against their opponents that is often misplaced. The irony is, populist politicians are often highly elite themselves. (Donald Trump, Bojo etc) Those who employ populist tactics tend to deflect the word and seldom identify as populists. It is seen as a disingenuous tactic because rather than using popular opinion to win votes, it attempts to implant opinions in the minds of its target audience. In this instance using charged words like “surrender” “betrayal” to create a feeling that we are somehow at war to scare people in to accepting their arguments. That’s an objective assessment of populism. My own personal belief is that it’s best to stick to more reasoned debate because emotion, anger, resentment can lead to poor political choices and division in society. All the best
@@CalumRhysJones So is not patronising someone and being civilised rather than being passive aggressive. So tell me what is the context that was acceptable to you in him being called a Nazi?

Couldn't agree more. They put themselves out as public servicemen like police, the army ect, and they do nothing to protect them. Then they get called a few names and they don't like it. Do what the public want, which is your job, and it wouldn't happen.
Gina Miller is shocked by the rhetoric in Commons the first day back. Really, Gina? Maybe if people like Gina just accepted the 2016 Referendum, the debate would be less incendiary.
The 23 June 2016 direct democracy not parliamentary democracy referendum was a mockery of democracy. "Advisory only" was written into it but the government simply ignored that. The restricted, gerrymandered, disenfranchized so-called referendum was and still is a mockery of democracy. The nation decided to Leave. Really, did they? All 11.4 million of the nation. Where is your arithmatic grades There are 70 million not 11.4. 60 million people want to remain in the family of Europe. The referendum should have been done properly instead of a piece of shit that the entire world laughs about but has moved on because Little England is a tiny irrelevant nation committing suicide and self harm. Good luck with that.

@@mozartsbumbumsrus7750 Good morning! I've just seen your comment. Can I say firstly that I am so sorry to see how badly you seem to have been affected psychologically by the subject of Brexit. Democracy is respecting the wishes of the winning side - in this particular case the 17.4 million people who voted to leave the EU. And, really is resorting to calling 17. 4 million people who voted to leave 'stupid' necessary? These people were/ are not 'stupid' they knew exactly what they were voting for. If you recall, and I am in no doubt that you do, politicians of all hues promised to respect the outcome of the referendum no matter what the result and not to throw all kinds of obstacles in the way of delivering that result. Anyway, that aside, many people who read your comment here will probably be very concerned about your well-being from a human perspective. You may be suffering from anxiety issues and possibly suffer from insomnia? Most people would probably advise you to get yourself off to your GP in the first instance - or, if you can afford it go private and perhaps Gina Miller and her associates could pay for private treatment for you if you can't or can't get a GP? - who will be able to offer you counselling or a suitable medication. If you still find that you may be unable to sleep until the medication that you are offered takes effect you can always go back onto websites to view comments others have made about Gina Miller and respond to those to pass the time - that should keep you occupied for some considerable time. Best wishes. Well done the Welsh blokes!
I would hardly call it tackling. It was a bunch of south welsh men trying to argue something they clearly didn't understand. it's akin to watching chimpanzees interact with a mirror someone placed into their enclosure.
You're right, Boris Johnson has clearly demonstrated that anyone born outside the UK should not be allowed within a mile of parliament. In fact they should not even be allowed in this country; what experience or insight could they possibly have that could benefit anywhere other than where they were born? Baffling.
brumsgrub you’re, it’s a contraction of the second person pronoun “you” and the verb to be form “are”. “Your”, however, is the second person possessive pronoun.
Reckless talked some sense but notice how quickly he jumped to defend the profits of "big pharma" against the proposal that the NHS produces generic medicine; it just looked like more vested interest. He didn't seem to understand that generic medicine: is less costly than brand named drugs; they are produced after the original patent has run out and they have the same active ingredients (just ask at your chemist/ drug store for the generic version of a branded pain -killer it always costs less). He's now on to his third political party so I'm beginning to wonder if it's the political parties (and it may well be) or him where the problem lies. Any talk of medicine shortages if/when the UK leaves the EU seems to ignore that the UK is a major exporter of medicine. What price common sense? I think Reckless (and a few in the house of Lords) work for big pharma; big business should not be sponsoring politics as that is corruption.
And when another MP gets killed? Don't apologise then? Keep going? No. These people desperately need to grow up and stop using such inflammatory language.
alan christopher - I’m with you on this. Having seen the Richard Hall video there are some amazing anomalies. I certainly believe it occurred to initially increase the vote for the Remain cause and now (and almost certainly in the future) it’s used to vilify the leave vote. Despicable imho.
Jo Cox's name needs to be brought up to stop politicians using language such as traitor, surrender act etc. Politicians like this language to fuel the divisions in the population for their political gain. They don't give a f* about "Brexit". All they care is power, even if that rips the country and population apart!
Gina Miller is the only person using brain to evaluate and act accordingly. You tell me what the plan is after the UK leaves the EU. Will you quit your job just because there are other options out there?? Will you??

Insults the working class, she's trying to save you? Bo Jo comes from Eton for gods sake how far from the working class is that, he's a millionaire? In 2020 the EU will be changing the tax rules forcing millionaires and billionaires to show all their tax records, why do you think the Tories are wanting us to leave the EU? Most of you couldn't be bothered with the EU before 2015. When you come out of the EU who do you think will suffer, not the rich Tories, that's for certain! Actually: while Gina Miller got the verdict she wanted the supreme court of the UK rejected her argument as an attempt to bring the law into matters of high politics; they accepted the Scottish government argument that debate was being stifled and Scotland voting remain may have decided the issue. However, at the moment there seems to be some dispute over who is in charge: The Queen; Westminster (parliament); the law or the people ... in Scotland it's the people. I've lost all trust in the current Westminster parliament, but it's pretty rich for the Tory to start trying to caution others about: being divisive; inconveniencing workers and while I don't understand the English education system, with tuition fees it's already looking like another debt mountain that can't be paid. Ten years of Tory austerity hasn't worked; the class war has (but only for the rich) and listening to the other Tory -> UKIP -> Brexit chap arguing against the NHS inconveniencing multinational "big pharma" by producing it's own generic medicine shows me where he gets his money and incidentally generic medicine: is out of patent; means you don't have to pay for the brand and so is a fraction of the price. The Welsh chap asking for another referendum on the same question is worse than nonsense: from then on every referendum will be contested; if the first isn't honoured why would the second or third be and (to the woman in the audience) if you aren't above voting age you just have to wait until you are; nobody has perfect knowledge of the future of the UK people vote for their reasons and usually they are on matters affecting them and referendums are used when there is no compromise. I believe it's easy enough for the UK to leave the EU (just stop paying membership and the EU will tell the UK when); I believe if you ask the UK voters a question that is the will of the people and any delay is an insult; this concept of parliamentary democracy where 650 people go their own way I don't believe in. Parliament has many roles, but telling us what to think is not one of them; what the voters require are facts and then they can decide based on them. I can't see the future, but I wonder if that many MPs do as many are making themselves unelectable and it has to be said that there is much more to the UK than two political parties which I think they may find out (neither wants a general election, by the way). I want to know who our elected representatives think they represent? (because it doesn't look like the voter, on whom they depend).
The Tory MP here is being disingenuous. The reason we don’t have Brexit is because the Tory MPs in the ERG refused to vote for Brexit when Theresa May put leaving to the House to vote for. If the Tory party and their DUP allies had voted for it, we would have left the EU by now. Labour is not the reason why we have not left yet.
Kris - Teresa May's 'deal' was BRINO (Brexit In Name Only). The Irish 'backstop' tied the UK to the whims of the EU for as long as they wanted without any hope of breaking free without their say so. Only a militarily defeated country could or should accept those terms. By the way had a few of your Labour MP's voted for it it would have passed so ironically they have done us a favour and with any luck we might get a proper Brexit as the 17.4m people voted for
Barney Rubble the referendum question was to leave the EU or remain. There was no mention on the ballot paper about the terms of leaving. If we left the EU, that would have been the leave vote being honoured Just because you don’t like the reality of what Brexit looks like doesn’t mean Britain leaving the EU isn’t Brexit A lot of people had enough common sense before the vote to know any deal Britain made with the EU about leaving would involve shitty terms and conditions and Britain having less control and less say. That’s why only thick people voted for it That’s what you voted for.
@@krisinsaigon that definitely would have been BRINO which is why it was voted down. Boris is trying to get a good deal in the interests of all the people of the UK not just the leave voters. It is hard to argue that the Benn Act is anything other than a Surrender Act as espoused by Boris and the remainers amongst us are biting off their noses to spite their face as it is in everyones interest to get a fair deal including that of the EU. At least you and I are having an exchange or debate without resorting to name-calling as is usually the case when someone is on the losing side of the argument. Regards

Why can't this awful lot let us leave. Look. We ain't stupid. We know no deal will have some temporary shortages of food (while they get the customs properly running) and maybe a few car companies bugger off, but in the long-run the UK will be greater. For too long we have relied on foreign firms and labour to produce stuff. We need to get rid of that, start buying british and making british. None of us holiday in the UK anymore, about time we stopped holidaying in the EU, lining others pockets. If we have to close our borders down completely (like in WWII) we will. We can and will make a success of it. People have got too soft, nowadays.
