This was our 4th of July feast. I started the cooking at 9AM and didn't finish until almost 3PM. I made laab gai (chicken minced meat salad), gang som gai (sour chicken soup), boiled bamboo to eat with jaeow gapee (spicy shrimp paste dip), thum mauk hoong (papaya salad) and thum mauk thang (cucumber salad). Of course there was sticky rice to eat with everything. Do you prefer thum mauk hoong or thum mauk thang?
